Phil is dead, too. I have to say, I was partially looking forward to him being arrested, standing trial and dealing with Chloe's inevitable feelings of anger and betrayal when she found out that he learned about who she was and was planning on keeping it from her, but upon further consideration, this is much better. I wasn't worried that he would be an obstacle once his thoughts on keeping her identity from her were made known. That was a fatal error in judgment. I don't think Chloe would have forgiven him for that choice. Unfortunately, that wasn't the first show of how poor his judgment. Did I mention how him starting a romantic relationship with an amnesiac who had been his patient gave me the squicks? I mean, I can understand him feeling sorry for, protective of or attracted to her, but acting on that so soon and so strongly was just....I can't think of the word I want to use.
