Holy crap Joel and CHloe are geting hitched and she's going to be a military wife. Please no. I want CHLEX. The writing was superb in this chapter even though I wnted to rip out my hair. I will be quiet now and keep waiting patiently for the CHLEX.

Okay, I accepted that Chloe needd a guy her own age for a while in High School and all that, but she's going to marry the boy! No way, man!

Surely you cannot be so cruel, superag, as to destroy all hope of Chlex?! But then, I remember that this is a Chlex forum, and so in the end it has to work out. Just so you know, the wait is making me (and no doubt many others) suffer terribly!!!

Okay, okay, I'm calm, and I do have to say you're writing continues to be nothing but excellent, a fact proven by how worked up I'm getting about the story!

Another update very soon would be appreciated, even if it is greedy to ask for more so fast after all the other postings! Oh well, can't wait!

They had spoken once that night, introducing each other’s dates to the other and talking light business. Mandy was just obnoxious. It reminded Chloe of the women that were paid to be escorts, ones that would fawn over you for the right price. The right price in Mandy’s eyes must have been Lex’s wallet. She remembered the two leaving for the evening early and wondered what hotel suite he took her back to.

That night she and Joel learned what angry sex felt like. She never quite understood why she felt that way or explained it to Joel except for she was in the mood for something harder, and Joel just prayed the condoms held. After that night, she steered from him altogether.

I´m getting really pissed at Chloe and her stubbornness.By reading this part only it´s so clear her feelings for Lex still run so deep. She might have steered from him altogether but she is definitely not over him.

Chloe turned and took a deep breath. Hugging him was risky; she sighed before slowing wrapping her arms around him.

You bet hugging him is risky. If she just forgave him for not opening his heart sooner, she would accept they´re meant to be together.

Standing back in the shadows, he watched as they talked and pulled in for a kiss. His heart dropped another notch seeing Chloe’s grip increase against Joel. A small sad smile grew on his lips as the boy barely eighteen proposed to the woman of his dreams.

Damn, I hate how much Lex is suffering and how hard he´s trying to let her be happy with the one she ¨thinks¨she wants.

I´m hoping and praying for Chlex soon. Don´t let her marry Joel or we´ll plot ourselves and crash the wedding to abduct her on Lex´s behalf.

Great writing though I´m not at all happy with Chloe´s choices, especially because I believe she´s trying to convince herself Joel is who she really wants.

This was a beautiful yet heart-breaking chapter!

I like that the Chlex friendship was back in that they were able to have a pretty good conversation, but then Lex had to watch Joel propose to Chloe. I wonder if he will try and talk her out of marrying Joel, and to marry him instead

This story continues to rock and I can't wait to see what happens next

Like I've said I'm loving this frequent updates!!! They're beyond awesome!!!

I don't mind the year jumping if it gets us closer to Chlex. Happy to see that Lex and Chloe are trying to get their freindship back.

Joel hugged Chloe and placed a small kiss on her lips as Lex looked on. Glancing back over his shoulder, he saw his mother purse her lips in calm. He had seen that look before, but he didn’t need it this time. He had finally grown up.

I'm not going to freak out over the Chloe and Joel getting married. Why?? Because I have faith that everything will work out!!!
