I love this story! Lex is so sweet and Chloe deserves someone being good to her. I want Clark to realize that he does want Chloe, but Lex steals her right from under his nose, and he has to deal with the pain :biggrin:

This is just heartbreaking. And the sad part is that I can really see this situation happening in the show (the pre Lex-to-the-rescue part). You are really good at making me empathize with your characters. It was painful to read through Chloe’s thought processes.

I love how Lex is able to cut through the BS and get straight to the point. It’s very true to character and Chloe’s observations of the differences between him and Clark are dead on. I loved seeing it.

“You, Chloe Sullivan, are too good for normal.” Now this right here is just an “Awww” moment. Deep wistful sighs of romantic longing all around. Just the right thing to say with perfect timing. *sigh*

This was really bittersweet and love seeing the progression.
