I'm almost disturbed at how delighted Clark/Kal's demise made me at the end! A relatively 'happy' ending for Lex and Chloe (both of them strong survivors, in spite of the physical and emotional wounds they've suffered), and anyone else who would have been especially grieved by Clark's crimes and death is already dead at his hands anyway, as is anybody who's in a position to raise difficult questions about Clark's abilities, or what Chloe and Lex knew and when they knew it.

An impressive and addictive story -- very well done!
