Uh, I may be in the minority here, but I actually think Chloe's reaction is an in-character one. She's been hurt so many times - and to have someone like Lex say out of nowhere that he's in love with her - it would seem a little fishy.

Heh, gotta love a sneaky butler *g* Lovely! I loved Chloe's rant in the bathroom, it's so like her. And I can't wait to see what happens when she comes back to the ballroom. I can just see Lex trying to find her and both of them missing each other by margins every time they walk into and out of a room *snickers* Update soon, you know I love this story.
