I liked the story but the end grosses me out.

... i figured it out half way through, but watched the rest of the film with a morbid fascination to have my suspicions confirmed. it was so v.c. andrews, but go ahead with your bad self hon. that was disturbingly good.

That's what I was thinking too. I read the whole Dollanganger series in middle school and high school. What does it say about me that this reason for Chloe's mom leaving is more plausible than the one given by the powers that be?

Wow! I really liked the how you integrated the flashbacks. I was surprised by the ending, very interesting and maybe a little weird. Either way, great story!
