Now that was a cute type of story. Good one.

I had to read this one twice to see if I really got it. I love the play on words--in the title and throughout the fic. What a fun, clever concept for the story.

He dipped in with the blunt finesse his name seemed to embody. Lex was softer, milder, more vulnerable and young. It had a tinge of sinful attraction. Luthor was a high stone wall with every stone too sharp to touch or an ocean so deep and icy its waves felt like cuts.

I love this reflection on his name. The imagery is rich, and it really does fit with the associations of his first and last name respectively. I read these sentences several times, thinking about it.

I liked how you conveyed a whole history of feeling and character in such a short story. Every detail seemed to hint at a whole possible backstory.

My only suggestion for Lex is that next time (and hopefully there won't be one) that he deflowers a virgin, he finds a more gentle, accomodating position. I mean really--taking her over the foot the bed? From behind? Really? If she was worried enough to need their little game (which was quite endearing), then he could at least have used good, old missionary. It might not have been as hot (for us readers) but it would have been easier on poor Chloe.

I think this is a good story with a nice view of Lex being a considerate type of guy and not a "wham-bam" type. He seemed much more willing to console her, by kissing her shoulder and waiting until he knew she was okay. I thought he was very patient, kind, and sweet through the entire ficlet and I liked it. It made me like Lex even more!
