Lucas is one of the characters I don't mind pairing with Chloe to place her closer to Lex; it's the perfect combination for an angsty Lex because it makes him yearn what he believes he can't have. I also enjoy reading Chlex/Chruce, but then having Bruce as an opponent stirs other emotions in him. *grin*Originally Posted by emms14

I was however a disappointed in how shady a character he turned out to be...gambling and the mob?! Yikes! In any case, I appreciated that Chloe didn't just fall into Lex's arms after Lucas's death. That would have been not only cruel but it would also seem like you were hurrying them just to end the story already. Time to go read more lexie fics (in some sort of order).

As regards Lucas' personality, you should remember that his nonchalance and gambling were part of his canon persona.
I'm glad you didn't find the development of the Chlex relationship rushed.
I usually use Vicky when Bruce is around and she's the perfect female friend for Chloe whenever she lives/visits Gotham considering they're both in the same business.
Oh, this belonged to a time when I wasn't bitter against Lana! There are a few of fics of mine where she isn't exactly likeable. Still, I tend to exacerbate those aspects of her which were positive in the early seasons and which were butchered along the way.
This is one of my very first fics so it's far from perfect. However, I'm still quite fond of it and think that the plot's its strongest point.really enjoyed the plot on this one...as well as the characterisations...great story
