    The Book of Chlexyness (PG)

    Title: The Book of Chlexyness
    Author: westwingwolf
Rating: PG but it's probably less
Disclaimer: Don't own nothing, Lord knows if I did, I'd have a lot less to complain about.
Author's Note: This is not so much a short story as it is a poem but I didn't know where else to put it. Also I did this as a project for my Spenser class so it is in the style of a Spenserian (sp?) sonnet. To my knowledge that means 9 lines with a rhyme scheme of ABABBCBCC. The first 8 lines have 10 syllables while the last line has 12.

Of all courts in the land of Fanfiction,
One court held in most regard was Smallville.
Here lived a knight with perfect diction.
Twas the knight of Chlexyness full of will
Took a battle that was mostly uphill.
Fought dragons most fierce and pairings most queer.
For the Fanfiction Queen want a great deal
To have Sir Lex whom she favored dear
Join fair Chloe in merriment all shall hear.

Sir Lex, noble without the true meaning
Had favor with the Queen for this reason.
For she found evil far more intriguing
Than the goodly creatures filled with treason
Who like Lex when he did deeds that please them
But turn on him if he helped himself.
Strong with riches but friendships he had none.
Angered chose wicked paths with most stealth.
For a lady most true, he would trade all his wealth.

Good Queen knew better than to change a man,
Choose instead to pair him with a lady
Who sees neither a good nor evil hand.
One knows only feats most needed badly.
Gorgeous Chloe seeks truth knowing gladly
That the answers found should not be judged.
She writes facts that may be taken madly.
For while some feeble minds hold a strong grudge,
With loyalty in her favor, love would not budge.

Chlex the knight was sent to do great honor,
To fight the dragons name Alfred and Miles,
With them stood demons needed be murder.
    Discontinuity came like piles
Of stink, drove characters into the wilds.
Plotholes and Revamp held trouble most foul,
Made people act untrue to their styles.
Mighty Chlex fought them well and had them howl,
With a sword of Logic and shield of Hope, made bow.

Greatest foe for Chlex to fight was Lana,
False as much as she was thought to be fair.
Compared by many to the sweet fauna,
Most see a doe but in truth be a bear.
Tricked men into harsh love with a stare.
Her sinful sights she did set on poor Lex.
Corrupt him from his destiny, she dare.
Her scornful child Lexana would vex
The land had it not been for the power of Chlex.

With all the land’s troubles terminated
Powerful Lex and Bright Chloe know love.
The Fanfiction Queen’s heart was most sated
To see these two hearts soar high like the dove.
She did rejoice that the heavens above
Would see the banter for eternity
That brought smiles to those across the cove.
Chlex fought hard for passion and certainty
Found with Chloe and Lex in the vicinity.
