Wow that was really awesome!!
The whole story had this pain filled under current to it the whole time that really sucked me in.
And the bittersweet ending was perfect.....no happily ever after for this one and that's the way it should have been.
I hate it when authors try to wrap up stories like this with everything ending perfectly for everyone.

So I have to say this is a wonderful fic. and I love that it ended so realistily. Although I've been wondering about the title. It's driving me nuts. I love it, but I don't know what it mean. And there are so many refrences to feet and footsteps. And in the chapter where Lois climbs into her bed it talks about her footsteps, and thats really the last time Chloe spends with her before the car incident. So maybe it's like Chloe thinks about that a lit. I'm probably reading to much into this. Great story.

I just discovered this fic the other day (thanks, Cy!) and once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. I absolutely adore the tone of this story; it's dark and extremely muted, in a very impactual way (which seems to be the case with most of your stories).

Beautiful written and a very intriguing storyline. Keep up the good work!
