I have to admit, when it said NC-17 I expected the smut to begin quickly, but I quickly became invested in the story which made the sex much more meaningful. I enjoyed the relationships and Lionel's redemption. Wonderful story.

Wow, I only started watching Smallville last month and this is the first ever Chlex fic that I have read and it has set the bar incredibly high. I am not sure how anything else is ever going to match up. I loved it from start to finish, although it is a shame that they never got to spar together again.
