Up until Lionel tried to poison Jack, I was sure he was leering at Chloe just to make Lex jealous. His insinuation that Chloe wasn't a Luther "yet" I saw as his plans for Lex and Chloe.

Excellant work on this fic. It's just brillantly written.

Very nice story, eventhough I liked it better when I thought that Lionel was trying to set up Chloe and Lex.
But still, I really liked the story!

I can't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed this story. From Lionel's slow decent into a sick and twisted obsession to Chloe's 'anger management lessons'. I loved the whole thing. And I know there was a definite angsty feel to the story, but I could also see this appearing under the humor category, as well. Hilarious.

I loved it! I like Lionel til it turned out all the stuff I thought he was doing to get chloe with lex turned out to be way creepy with his attraction to her. Lex was the best in this, plus i love how chloe had a little bit more attitude than i have seen before.

Consequences, indeed! You captured both the real charm of Lionel and the poison at his core, and made Chloe's friendship with the elder Luthor all the more tragic, in that his own flaws and history compelled him to take it much too far, to alienate her and attempt to murder a kid who wasn't even a real rival. But at least the threat of Lionel's interest in Chloe was enough to spur Lex to action, and i can't be other than happy to see them together at last -- allies, friends, and lovers.
