Hi HumbugGirl,

I think this story might be the second most likely way Chlex could have happened on the show, with the problem being Chloe's age at the beginning of season 2. However, if the network hadn't had prudes to deal with, Lex and Chloe definitely could have formed this odd friendship that became a relationship. You even dealt with all the other characters in a realistic, humane way. Amazing, and I'd never have had the patience to write something like this.
