Scared Pink
He stood at the altar watching the veiled woman approach.
The woman he loved, adored, worshipped would be his soon. Soon.
The excited anticipation he felt was evident in the way his smile beamed. So bright it could blind. He was clearly besotted.
Fast forward.
She stood next to him, staring into his eyes as the priest began.
He tried to lift the veil but she shook her head.
Fast forward.
"You may kiss the bride."
Lex grasped the veil and lifted, ecstatic to finally see his wife.
Chloe's shining smile greeted him and he kissed her passionately. His wife.
Fast forward.
He pulled back, opening his eyes slowly...
Only to find Lana smiling at him in Chloe's place. Gah!
"You see, Lex, this is what happens when you concoct strange nightmare drugs," Lana whispered sweetly before grabbing him by his lapels and laying a slobbery kiss on him.
"So where are we going on our honeymoon, dear hubby?"
Lex's eyes widened in terror.
Lex yelped and leapt out of his bed, upending the small load that was resting on his chest.
"Ow, jeez, what was that for," Chloe asked with a scowl from her sprawled position on the floor.
Lex looked down at her and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Oh, thank God!"
End.
<Cue evil cackling here>
