Wow. I know you said it was going to be short, but I guess I thought there would be a couple more chapters at least. Still, the setting was great; your characterizations of the backdrop players (Lana, Clark, etc.) was scarily spot-on, and the imagery was very nice. Well done.

I had to laugh when I saw your idea of scary Hallowe'en costumes for the residents of Smallville. I guess when you're as scary as Lana every day there's no need to dress it up for a special occasion. I was also picturing The Kents dressed up as a stereotypical farm couple, with Martha understanding the irony and Jonathan just happy he wasn't dressed up in tights or a cape. It does worry me that Clark and Lois are apparently in charge of the piety of the souls of Smallville, especially since they sometimes shower together.

Also, I think this should be a series covering all the major holidays of the year. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's, Groundhog Day, St. Patrick's Day, my birthday on May 22 which is technically Victoria Day, the anniversary of the creation of NS, etc . . .

Her soul is senstive like a finely made tuning fork. It vibrates and resonates with every little hint of trauma, evil and monstrosity that might be humming in the air, and channels it into expressions of fiction... or recomended websites - somethingeasy
