Here's for the Night

Author's note: Here's for the night is an Angst and a short story. Pg-13 and perhaps a squeel, don't know yet.
so what you think? Please read and review.

So I lied…
It happens to everybody how was in a relationship, so why not theirs as well?
Strolling over the beach, Lex let out a sigh. Purely out of tiredness and frustration. Was she the now or never kind?
One day he would be gone and would never come back.
Was she cool with this?

Here was a toast to the never-ending pain that hosted in his hart. He didn’t want to loose her; he loved her to much for that to happen. All the happiness she brought with her. The nights that he felt so alive as they drank with her friends, his friends, like there was no tomorrow. The mind-blowing events behind the closed doors. She had given herself to him. And he himself to her.

The tears she knew she would cry, goodbye would come soon. Too soon for his liking. He wanted to hold her, love her, make her squeal in delight as he would nibble her earlobe in the middle of the night.

Letting a hand go over his hairless scalp, he unbuttoned his shirt and sat down, letting the warm water ruin his brand new custom made suit. He didn’t care. He only cared about her. Warmness rolled over his cheeks. Tears.

Here was a toast for all that knew him all so well. All that warned him but he was to thick-headed not to listen. Never-ending pain, sorrow and despair would fill his dark moments as she would walk out his live, disappear in the fog as he would run after her, trying to get her back, but he screwed it up so badly he didn’t know what to do anymore.

His let his head fall on his knees, growling as the slight pain hit his neck. Wrong movement. He chuckled. How could he worrying about wrong movements when his girlfriend, lover, woman, baby, sugar-spice-and everything nice was leaving him.

His body made strange movements to him; he felt his nose go stuffy, his eyes producing tears in an overdrive, his hands started to shake, and his breathe hitched. His back stiffened as the first tear escaped his eye, fallowed by millions more.

Niagara Falls.

“Chloe…” Hands fall on the sand, as he let himself hit the soft sound as he cried for his loved one. His chest making rapped movements and pain in his head made him yammer in the night.

The pain in her left arm was unbearable. She hated this so much. The stress, the angst and the pure frustration and tiredness became too much for her.
He lied to her.

A single tear caressed her once so perfectly make-up. The bruin and black found their way down in little streams. Tears fell on her shirt as she felt how the needle went threw her skin up to her blood circulation in the sensitive part of her elbow.

How could she be so blind not to notes that something was wrong? How could she? Her father had warned her for this, ditto for Lana, Pete and the farm boy. She knew she would let tears in her relationship with this particular man, but somehow she couldn’t help but be with him. Take the risk. Jump into the deepness of the oblivion, holding his hand as they flew threw the air.

Everything had been perfect. His way of walking, the soft moans he made as he would hold her in the darkest hour of the nightfall, the stars in his eyes as he would look at her and the way he kissed her lips with the passion that could knock every woman out.

The single tough of his hand, the pure eclectic shocks that would fill her body. Those shocks still had their own little undiscovered magic that she had loved and wanted. Nights of loneliness and pain in her hart. She wanted to be able to come clean with him. Crab his head and kiss him as if tomorrow wouldn’t come.

“Okay miss Sullivan. That where 2 bottles of blood. I’ll make sure the doc will have casement them before Wednesday.” Tommy, her blood drainer smiled at her. Didn’t she know him from somewhere?
But she couldn’t think straight.

Her nine inch heel connected with the accelerator, the engine made the perfect roar and she chuckled. Looking at her right she saw how Lex sat there, smiling at her, trying not to overdo their first date. He let her ride his luxury car.

Blinking she let out a sigh. Lex was gone. He couldn’t love her, he lied to her and she knew it. She needed her space and her sweet time. He could give it to her.

He didn’t love her…

Her nose stuffy, her arms weak and the migraine that had been plaguing for months. All she wanted was to go back to his privet property, open his bedroomdoor and let his sweet cologne drown her in his loving sent.

He didn’t want her…

Driving in the dark streets of Miami, she looked for a parking spot. Parking her car, she looked around.
Nobody to be seen.
She let them come; wash over her. Memories of her and Lex, sitting underneath the waterfall, the water slashing on her naked body as they kissed…
Her body was in pain, the little blood from her bare arm. She couldn’t pretend she didn’t love him. She just couldn’t.

Here’s to the night

His gaze went bluer. Was the man for real? Was his dear friend for real? Did she…Was she really…Was that why…?
Questions filled his head; the smell of booze filled his sentence and pure disgust washed over him.

That week he had drank all sorts of liquate. From milk in the morning as he would wonder in his apartment, searching for her, to strong whiskey shots in the middle of the night. In the midday he would drink coffee but tread them for tequila while he danced with strange bodies. Letting them grand against him while he thought about her short blonde hair, beautiful hazel eyes.

He disgusted himself and his behaviour. She had gotten under his skin and he knew that. He couldn’t help himself. Her soft fingers doing their magic and the blow kiss as she would make before her everyday run around his lands in the morning breeze.
He wanted her back so badly, caress her skin, kiss her into oblivion, and hold her until she would make a sarcastic remark about her circulation…
What he had done?
He wasn’t sure she would come back…He had made herself clear.
No wonder she fled.

“Lex? Cat got your tongue?” Tommy looked at his friend. He knew that something was off the minute Chloe walked in without her loyal lapdog. She had Lex wrapped around her petit little finger and loved him unconditionally. But he didn’t let her go *anywhere* without him.
First Tommy thought she didn’t want to be weak under Lex’s gaze, but that didn’t make any scents.

But after the results came in…
He was off limits, he knew that. He also knew he shouldn’t had copied the papers and gone to Lex but Chloe was a tender flower and deeply ashamed about the result.
She had locked herself up in her apartment. Only room servers had gone in but only a few steps because they didn’t want to disturbed young Miss Sullivan and her work.

The phone wasn’t plugged in and she didn’t answer her cell phone.

She must have been, and still be, devastated for Lex or anyone else to find out. And here Tommy was, handing Lex the lab results.

Lex his eyes started to water as his knuckles getting whiter at the second.

What was Lex going to do? Tommy wondered, taking another quick gaze at his friend.
Shacking it off, he stepped out of the office. Gazing right in hazel eyes as he turned himself around, ready to walk away.

"Hey Tommy, I already thought I knew you from somewhere."
Taking a deep breath, she turned around and made her way over to the elevator. Looking at him just one more time, she smiled weakly.
"Thank you Tommy, you just destroyed my live."

Just to clarify...
Tommy is a friend of Lex and Chloe and knew about their relationship...Well, sorta. He also works in the hospital where Chloe drew her blood for some tests.
