Who are you and why oh *why* haven't I read your stuff before?? I'm knee deep in a Corporate Finance project that has driven me practically to the point of tears and desperately needed a distraction, and oh darling, how well you delivered! I loved this; loved every yummy bit of it from the banter on the dance floor to the *lovely* build-up to the sex scene, to the wonderful conclusion that shows that the two of them really *can* be in love (and really *should* be in love, since no one else would be able to appreciate them half so well) without giving up who they are and what they do. I even feel brave enough now to dig my way back into my project! Thanks, sweetie, you're a lifesaver!

I realized that I never commented on the second part of this story!

I love the easy camaraderie and understanding that you have existing between Lex and Chloe. They trust and have faith in each other, and they are not going to let Clark, or Chloe's journalism, or Lex's secret deals destroy that.

And the smutty part was great, too

P.S. You asked for constructive criticism but I really don't see anything wrong with your writing...there's absolutely nothing I would change. Sorry I can't be more helpful...my feedback is pretty much useless. But I always have a tough time commenting on things I like. It's much easier to criticize when I'm unhappy. Your fics make me very very happy... this is the unrealized potential of Smallville and Chloe & Lex as characters. Right here. More please!

Aha. I found this after reviewing the previous story... told ya they were doin' it.

This is an excellent sequel to Evil is Obvious Only in Retrospect. It's late and I'm off to bed, so no in-depth feedback, but I just wanted to let you know it's really good and I have no idea if there's another part already, another one coming, or what, but I'd love to see more.
