Security update August 6th 2011

There's a new version of the forum software, which includes several bugfixes, so I will update the forum on Saturday October 9th, at 4pm Norwegian time. If all goes smoothly it will take about 30 minutes or so for the upgrade to be finished. There's a lot of files that has to be uploaded, which takes time.

During this time, NS will be partially down, as I am updating the files and the database.

Also, during the upgrade, please don't refresh NS often, as it generates a LOT of error e-mails that are sent to me. I'll keep you guys updated on our Twitter account, nsnetwork, so check in there for updates as they happen :).

I will begin the upgrade in one hour (actually, in 55 minutes)! During this time NS will have down time, so don't be writing long replies during this time as you might lose it ;)

Forum upgrade Saturday November 6th 2010

I will be upgrading the forum software to the latest version on Saturday November 6th 2010 starting at 6pm Oslo, Norway time. The work shouldn’t take more than one (1) hour, please be patient. During this time the forum will be closed. Once the upgrade is successfully implemented I will open the forums again.

There's something weird about some bits of styling here and there, but the forum in general should work like intended! :) If you see something odd, contact me via PM please!

I'll be updating the forums later today as there has been discovered a serious security problem, and the folks who makes the code for this forum has released a patch that I need to apply! :) And there's also a backlog of updates waiting, so I'll do that in all one big swoop later tonight, when I get home from work! I get off at work at 3pm, and it's now currently 08:38am! :) Stay tuned on our Twitter channel and Facebook page for updates during the update process :)

Main forum upgrade all done, now I'll go work on the extra features we have, but you should have minimal to no problems when I do this :)
