Buy a paid subscription in December, --> 50% to charity!

It soon being the jolly season and all, I thought it would be nice if we did something for charity. I guess most NSers have a good home and good life situations, but that's not the same for everyone else in the world!

SO! My idea was that, 50% of all the money that comes in during December via the Paid Subscriptions will go to charity. How does that sound?

Meaning, if you purchase a (yearly) Gold Subscription, 25 USD of that will go to charity.
If you purchase a Silver Subscription, 10 USD of that will go to charity.

It may not be a lot for just one person, but if many of us does it, it can easily become a lot of money, no? :)

I have three different charities in mind, which are international (seeing as NS is international);

• Red Cross
• Unicef
• WWF

Depending on how much money is raised, we can split the total amount into three, OR donate all to one cause,... or two :)

We also still have the money raised from the NS MR/AM Charity Donation, which is 237,84 USD. Which we can also change into the three causes above.

So, what you do think?

I like the idea of splitting the money three ways, because all three are such worthy charities:grin3:

Alright, I've added a poll so you can vote on which charity we should donate to :) Not enough money came in to split it three ways, so I think we should just stick to one :)

The Children's Fund sounds great to me.
