The Advent Calendar! (2005)

I know some of you are wondering what the heck my signature is now all about. Well, I thought I would start this thread so you may get some of your questions answered. I will not of course answer all, because that would ruin the surprise of it, but I'll try to explain it! :)

The Advent Calendar, well, it is what it says, an Advent Calendar. Just in a Chlexed style. We count down to Christmas Eve with Chlexy goodness every day! :) What better way to spend Christmas than with some good ol' Chlex to cheer you up! :)

Now, I won't tell you just yet what will be featured on it, but I promise you I got some rather *good* stuff in store for you ;) I've gotten some people to help me out to make this one wicked Christmas for you all! :)

Should you have any other questions, don't hesitate to post it, and I'll try my very best to answer it without giving away too much!

Stay tuned here for clues and hints... Should I give any away ;)

Well there's only one thing I can really say about it. Absolutely Gorgeous! I love it. I can tell you all put a massive amount of time into making it and it makes me very proud to be a member of NS. Man I love this time of year! Anyway, great job and I look forward to seeing the updates!

Well, um, an Advent Calendar is a count down calendar, where you count down to christmas. I don't know if every country has these, but here in Norway you can buy this little squared box, with a christmas image on it. And there are 24 spaces you can open, and inside each of them there's a little chocolate.

Should you wonder how a winner is chosen, she was the fourth person to enter the contest. I chose number 4, because it was december 4th. I may not use the date next time though, so don't send in 10 fake ones and 1 true the next sunday, as it's not certain I will go for the date that time as well!

I've now added all of the featured Advent Calendar icons to the NS message board avatar section. Go to UserCP, Edit Avatar (http://forums.naughty-seduction.net/profile.php?do=editavatar), and choose Advent Calendar from the drop down list. =)

So I am ashamed to admit that I only just yesterday discovered the NS Advent Calender. I've been missing out and it's my own fault. :(

Julie i'm gonna echo everyone else by telling you how amazing the site looks. I know everyone and myself included appreciates the hard work and time you and the other moderators put into the NS site, and the advent calender is just an added bonus.

Zannie I hope you know you're responsible for my lack of sleep this morning. I stayed up all night catching up on Serving Christmas. :) My heart just keeps breaking for Chloe. I just want to smack Clark and Lana for continously making her feel so inadequate. Kinda feel sorry for Mark since he's just an innocent bystander, but I can't feel too sorry for him 'cause he was standing in the way of the Chlexy goodness.:) I'll definetly be anxiously checking back every day until Christmas.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone involved in the advent calendar before all my real life Christmas-related-craziness begins - Julie, for organising and designing and maintaining and in fact for just coming up with such a fantastic concept; Zannie, for the brilliant Christmassy story, the updates of which I am already missing (and quietly hoping for a Christmas-day-at-the-Sullivans epilogue!); Jen for the gorgeous wallpapers and especially the avatars, which it is so hard to choose between I seem to be changing mine every day!; and Becky for the oh-so-lovely festive video, such a nice surprise and such an awesome video from a vid maker who never ceases to amaze me!
