Episode One: Bad girl Lillian
The morning started off like any other morning. Lex wakes up and wakes up his six children to get them ready for school. They also have one on the way. Sometimes it can be a hassle especially for Lillian. She has been misbehaving lately and not getting a long with her father. Alexander the oldest 18, Charlotte 16 (Charlie for short), David 15, and the twins Danny both 12, and Julian are downstairs in the kitchen helping make breakfast.

“Where’s Lillian?” Lex asked Chloe as she put the egg batter in the pan. She scraped the rest out with a fork.
“I thought you woke her up?” Chloe asked so sure that she was up. Lex sighed and went back up stairs to wake up his first oldest daughter for the fifth time. He knocked on her door.

“Lillian? Wake up! I’m not calling you again.” He said loudly so she could hear him.
“I’m not going to school!” A muffled reply came from the young blonde. Lex sighed irately. He pinched his fingers between the top of his nose and knocked again on the door.
“Lillian Luthor you are going to school! Now wake up! Don’t make me come in there!” He was cut off.
“I don’t feel good!” Lillian lied. Lex grunted. He tried to open the door but it was locked. He took out his key and opens the door and saw her under the covers, pillow over her head. He hated this routine in the morning. He tore the blankets off her and threw them on the floor. She felt cold and curled her legs up.
“If you don’t wake up and get ready for school you’re not going to that party this weekend!” He threatens.
“But dad that’s not fair!” She shot up now understanding what she was dealing with. Lex didn’t look happy with her attitude.
“I think it’s plenty fair Lillian. Why don’t you want to go to school?” He asked calmly sitting on her bed. She sat Indian style. She was so beautiful just like her mother. She had long blonde hair and a mix of blue green eyes. It was report card day and she wasn’t doing too well on her grades. She knew her father would flip if he found out.
“I don’t know.” She shrugged. Lex gave a un assuring look.
“Please get dressed honey.” He said and kissed her forehead. Lex went downstairs. Breakfast was done and on the table. Lex looked at his watch.

“Is she up?” Chloe asked as she set a plate of sausages on the table. Lex nodded his head yes and kissed his wife.
“Gross.” Danny said.
“Just be glad we love each other.” Lex said with a smile. Danny rolled his eyes. Lillian walked in the kitchen.
“I’m up ok?” She said and sat down next to Charlie. Charlie surprisingly had red hair and blue eyes. She looked a lot like Lex.
“Charlie you’re violin lesson has been rescheduled to next week, David I’ll be a little late picking you up from soccer practice, Danny and Julian you’ll be dropped off at the Kent farm. You’re father is going to have a late work day, oh and Julian be nice to their dog. No ridding it. It is not a horse. And Clark says that the tools are not to be used as bats David.” Julian shrugged his shoulders like it was nothing. David had a smile on his face. The Kent’s have gotten a new golden retriever.
“Did I miss anything?” Chloe asked Lex. Lex shook his head no.
“Dad, can I take the convertible to school?” Lillian asked. She just got her license and she is 17. Lex felt hesitant.
“Lillian,” He began but he was cut off.
“Please dad?” She had a reason. She wanted to impress this guy she liked. Lex was silent for a moment.
“I promise I’ll wake up good every morning.” She had a smile on her face. Lex sighed.
“Alright. Just promise me you won’t crash it.” Lillian squealed went over to hug her father. He gave her the keys. She went to leave with out having breakfast. She was too excited.
“Lillian, where are you going?” She turned around.
“School.” She smiled.
“Where is Lillian and what have you done with her?” Lex asked like she was sick. Lillian smirked.
“She’s right here dad. Bye.”

“Hey if she gets to drive then can I take the jeep?” Danny asked who was only 12 and had a few more years before he could drive. Thank God. Lex thought. It was hell teaching his kids to drive.
“No.” Lex said sternly.
“Aw dad c’mon! Clark let’s me ride the tractor.” Danny protested. Lex put his fork down on his plate and it made a clank sound. He was shocked that Clark would let him do something like that.
“What?” He said seriously and blinked his yes.
“Nice going Danny.” Julian said like he gave away their fun at the farm. Lex sighed again. He felt tense. He looked at his watch again.
“I gotta go. Bye Chloe.” He kissed her again and left for work.
“We better get you guys to school too.” Chloe said and took them to school in the mini van. She was only a month pregnant with baby number 7.

After school Chloe dropped of Danny and Julian at the Kent farm.

“Chloe, I hear congrats are in order.” Clark said patting her on the back. She smiled.
“Yeah keep this up and you might end up having a tribe of Luthor’s.” Lois chimed with a smile. Chloe looked at her like shut up.
“Well at least I didn’t marry a farm boy.” Chloe retorted happily.
“At least mine has hair.” Lois joked. Clark couldn’t help but laugh.
“Just take good care of my kids Lois. Don’t let them ride the tractor I think Lex was a little worried about that.”
“As long as they promise not to ride the dog again.” Lois said while squatting to meet the twins at eye level. She ruffled Danny’s hair then stood up.
“Or use the tools as bats.” Clark reminded them.
“Bye boys be good!” Chloe demanded kissed them on the forehead and left to pick up David.

“Daniel Lockland Luthor!” Lois screamed as she chased Danny down the hall. Danny had placed some fake bugs in the sink in the bathroom. He ran for his life. Danny was the wild wicked one with all those funky ideas for pranks. Julian was a follower. Danny ran only to bump into Clark.

“Where do you think you’re going big guy?” Danny looked up with a start. Clark had his arms folded across his chest. Julian smiled at his brother who was in trouble.
“You’re in trouble now Danny.” Julian taunted him.
“Now look Daniel, why do you have to be the prankster? Do you know what the prankster gets?” She asked.
“No.” Danny shook his head. He was kind of scared.
“Tickle fight!” Lois yelled and started tickling him. Clark joined her. Danny went into laughing fits and fell to the ground. Clark heard a crash in the barn then a scream. It was their child Rachel.

“Dad!” Rachel yelled in pain. Her foot got caught under a sharp tool. Night was beginning to fall. Lex drove his car up the drive of the Kent house. He saw Clark, Lois and his two kids rush off to the barn. He hurriedly got out of his car to see what the trouble was.

Clark saw Rachel’s leg cut. It was bleeding. Rachel winced in pain. Clark picked up the sharp tool and put it out of harms way.

“Clark what happen?” Lex asked as he jogged in.
“Rachel got cut. Now Rachel what did I tell you about playing in the barn?” Clark asked sternly. She was bleeding and could care less of this lecture.
“Guys we need to go. I’m sorry Clark.” Lex ruffled Rachel’s hair sending a faint smile on her face. The three Luthor’s walked out to pile into the car.

“I call shot gun!” Danny yelled as he rushed to the door.
“You always get shot gun!” Julian complained pushing his brother out of the way.
“Boys! Stop arguing. Danny he’s right, let your brother have the front.” Julian smiled and let Danny in the back first. It was a two door car.
“But Dad!” Danny whined. He plopped down on the seat. They were all settled and Lex took them home.

It was about 10PM and Lillian wasn’t home from school yet. Lex looked at his watch. Worry flowed through his body. Chloe leaned on his shoulder. The rest of the kids were asleep and the house was silent. The house was theirs.

“Lex, I’m really tired.” Chloe said and managed a yawn. They sat in the couch in his office.
“I’ll wait for Lillian a few more minutes.” Chloe kissed her husband and went to their bedroom. Lex felt frustrated with his daughter. She could be a hassle sometimes. Lex rested his fist on the side of his head. He was tired as well. His eyes started to close on their own. He fell asleep on the couch waiting for his daughter to come home.

Lillian walked up to the front door. It was 2 in the morning. She went to open the door but it was locked. She groaned. She hit the intercom button.

“Dad?” She asked and let go of the button. Nathan the helper heard her and went to wake up Lex.
“Dad?” Lillian asked again and she got a reply.
“Where were you?” He asked sternly over the intercom in his office. Lillian was cold.
“Out. Dad it’s freezing out here.” She said in the intercom and rubbed her hands over her arms to keep warm.
“I bet it is. Do you have any idea how worried we were?” Lex was growing angrier by the minute. Lillian groaned and stomped her foot on the ground.
“I’m sorry ok? Please let me in.” She said. The door un locked and she walked in relieved to be in the warmth of the mansion. Lex met her in the lobby.

“Where were you?” He asked again.

Continued from Episode One: Bad girl Lillian/Dave’s bubble prank
“Out ok? You don’t need to know everything that goes on in my life.” Lex smirked with a scoff.
“I’m your father that is my right. Lillian it’s 2 in the morning. I can’t believe you would break curfew. Do you even know what time your curfew is?” He asked as one hand was on his hip and one hand in the air. Lillian folded her arms and looked away.
“Of I course I do…” She said like whatever forgetting the time. Lex scoffed.
“Ten PM. Not AM. In the morning we’re going to disgust your behavior.”
“It is morning.” She replied tilting her head and started to walk to the stairs that led to her room. Lex followed.
“Then later today. Now go to bed and I don’t wanna have to wake you five million times.” Lillian smirked and managed an evil laugh. Be afraid be very afraid…Was all Alexander had to whisper in Lex’s ear. ‘Where are you when I really need you?’ He thought.

Lex slid into bed next to the sleeping Chloe. She heard him sigh.

“Any blood shed?” She joked in the wee hour of the morning.
“If you count an evil laugh.” He kissed her cheek and held her close.
“How did we get such stubborn kids?” He asked her and leaned his chin on her shoulder.
“Hmm I don’t know maybe they got it from you.” She joked. Lex gave a weak smile.
“As I recall you had quite the temper too Mrs. Luthor.”
“Yeah but not as bad as you.” Lex smirked again laughing this time.
“Good night Chloe.”
“I defeated you didn’t I?” She smiled in the dark knowing she had defeated her husband.
“Good night.” He said more firmly and kissed her cheek and they went to sleep.

Tuesday morning
This morning was like any other morning. Lillian wasn’t downstairs as usual. Lex sighed looked at his watch. He went back upstairs to wake her up for the second time. He was getting used to this. It had become a routine that etched its way into his life. He knocked on the door.

“Lillian?” No reply. The room was silent and so was Lillian. He open the door surprised that it wasn’t locked. He sighed more irately as he saw that her head was under the covers, and her head under her pillow. Lex went to get closer and she shot up yelling got ya, scarring the crap out of him. His eyes went wide with terror. She was up and dressed ready for school. Lex shook his head and gave a frustrated yet satisfied look.
“Dad when I make a promise I keep it.” She informed him kissing him lightly on the cheek. She had a part of Lex that he found comforting. The ability to keep a promise. Lex gave a sigh of relief and joined his daughter downstairs. His heart was still racing but he was calm.

“It’s nice to see you on time.” Danny mocked. Lillian stuck her tongue out at him.
“Lilly your father and I are going to discuss your punishment after school so please come straight home.” Chloe said waiting for a moan from Lilly. 5, 4, 3, 2, Chloe thought waiting for a groan from Lilly. Lilly groaned as Chloe thought one. She smiled.

“David!” Charlie screamed as she ran down the stairs. Her face was covered in whipped cream. Dave had put some on her hands tickled her face so she would scratch it, only to put the whipped cream on her face. She chased Dave into the kitchen. Dave cowered behind his father. Lex moved out of the way. Lex snickered at his daughter covered in whipped cream.
“Dad, it’s not funny!” Charlie complained. Lex gave a serious look after snickering.
“What I put up with in the morning.” He thought quietly to himself. Actually I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world… He trailed off in his mind. Lex did enjoy watching his children’s pranks. They were comforting from coming home from the office. They made him forget his worries and woes. He realized he loved his children more then life. He even loved the one that was slowly forming in his wife’s belly. He would even love the next child that came along. Can you put up with eight kids? Alexander taunted. Lex shrugged it off.
“David, be nice to your sister. Charlie get cleaned up. Oh and Dave, you’re grounded.” Lex waited for the complaint.
“But dad!” Dave complained.
“Your father has spoken.” Chloe said in a deep tone then smiling. Dave groaned throwing his hands in the air in disgust. Charlie smiled to herself and went to get cleaned up.
“Hey dad don’t forget to pick me up from football practice.” The younger Lex reminded his father.
“Oh thank you for reminding me.” Lex almost forgot. Alexander smiled.
“What would you do with out me dad?” The younger Lex asked as he put his arm over his father’s shoulder.
“You’d probably walk home or get a ride.” Lex smiled and patted his son’s back.
“Thanks dad.” Alexander said in a not so thanking way.

“Hey Godspilla it’s nice to see you took your mask off.” Dave taunted her sister who came back fully cleaned.
“Dad!” Charlie complained.
“David Lockland.” Lex said in a cold voice that sent shivers down his spine. Any help from my evil half? Lex thought. No reply came from Alexander. Lex usually looked up to him for help or for punishment. He was usually resourceful in a good way it was almost scary. Alexander was Lex’s evil weapon.

“C’mon guys we should get going. Lilly please remember to come home right after school.” Chloe remembered her one more time.
“I bet she’ll come home at 2 again.” Danny chimed. Lilly hit him playfully on the arm.
“Ow.” Danny winced and rubbed his arm.
“Oh please I barely touched you.” Lilly said. Lilly took her car to school leaving Chloe with Charlie, Dave and the twins. Dave wasn’t aloud to drive till he was 50 or so Lex said. Charlie seemed promising. Lex and Chloe were in the door way of the mansion that led outside. Alexander waited patiently in his father's car.

“Bye Lex.” She kissed him making Danny give a gross out look. He was still in his “girls are gross” phase as all young boys are.
“Good luck.” Lex teased. Chloe started walking towards the mini van. She got that feeling that he was checking her out.
“Are you checking me out?” She asked as she turned around. Lex gave a seducing look.
“Absolutely.” He smiled evilly. Chloe smiled brightly feeling very high from that. She started walking sticking her butt out.
“Hey put that thing away you could poke an eye out.” Lex joked making Chloe laugh hysterically. She gave him one last look and then got in the mini van. The kids followed. Lex laughed to himself. A few years later and we still got the heat.He thought and got in his car and dropped his son off at SV High, then to the plant in Smallville that still stood from all those years.

During lunch at Smallville High Dave snuck off into the pool area. He knew there was swim class soon. He got out his special bubbles and poured them into the pool. He had found a green meteor rock on the ground and it happen to make more bubbles. So he put two and two together. The liquid in the pool started to form bigger bubbles like bubble bath. It quickly spread across the water filling the pool. Dave took a step back as some bubbles leaped over the side and onto his shoes. He was scared at first. The foam had a green tint to it. He heard the door being open by the swimming instructor. He caught David red handed. Dave dropped his bubbles on the ground having them spilled.

David ended up in the principals office. He sat quietly fiddling with his thumbs not saying a word.

“What is your father going to say about this David?” The principal sounded threatening. He sighed irately pinching the top of his nose. He called Lex at the office in Metropolis no less.

Lex was in a meeting giving a demonstration. When he saw that it was the principal on the caller I.D he winced. What did my kids do now? Lex complained in his thoughts.

“Excuse me I really need to take this.” Lex answered the phone and excused himself out.

“Mr. Jenkins.” Lex began like nothing happen.
“Cut the chit chat Luthor. David poured bubble bath in the pool. Now you know that there is not to be anyone in the pool area when class isn’t in session. It’s school policy and I know David was aware of that.” Lex sighed and rubbed his head.
“I’m sorry Mr. Jenkins it won’t happen again.”
“Will it?” That made Lex think for a bit.
“Please pick up your son. He is suspended for a week.” Mr. Jenkins sounded desperate to get rid of him. Lex’s heart went to the floor for his son’s behavior. That kid is clever. Alexander chimed in Lex’s ear. ‘I thought we were a team here?’ Lex reminded his other half.
“Yes sir. I really am sorry if there is anyway I can repay you?”
“Teach your son how to behave.” Mr. Jenkins said bitterly and hung up on Lex. Lex gave an angry look. He went back in the business room and put on a fake smile.

“I’m sorry can we reschedule this?” He asked sounding happily with a hint of anger.
“Sure Mr. Luthor. How about tonight?”
“Sure how’s 7 for you guys?” Lex asked. They nodded their heads in agreement.
“Again I am sorry.” He apologized for the second time. He grabbed his brief case and went to Smallville High.

Lex was very ticked off at his son for getting suspended. He didn’t say a word which the kids called the calm before the storm. David got in the passenger side of the silver car and put his book bag on the floor. Lex didn’t start the car. He looked angry.

“What were you thinking David?” Lex asked looking at his son angrilly. David shrugged his shoulders.
“No don’t give me that! Why did you put bubbles in the pool? Because really that is a clever prank.” No your not suppose to encourage the kid! Lex thought realizing what he just did. A smile formed over David’s lips. Lex sighed and started the car.
“You know I was the class clown too.” Lex backed out of the parking lot.
“Really?” David asked interested in what his father used to do. Maybe he could pick up on some tips.
“Yes but I’m not telling you anything.” Lex gave an evil smile. David groaned. On the way home he kept begging his father to give him some evil pranks. You can do this Lex you’re a patient man remember? Patient my ass.

Lex and David walked into the mansion while David was still begging his father.

“Alright fine! Do this one on your mother.”
“Dad, I don’t want to hurt mom.” Dave protested.
“This one is fair game. You won’t hurt her trust me.”

Chloe came in the hallway and saw Lex and David. She was surprised to see them home so soon.

“Lex, what are you guys doing here?” David felt bashful.
“David has something to tell you.” Lex went to give his beautiful wife a quick peck. He put his arm around her shoulders
“Well David I’m waiting.” Chloe said impatiently.
“I put green bubble bath in the pool.” David confessed.
“David how many times have me and your father told you to behave? I’m sorry but your grounded” Chloe protested.
“I’m already grounded.” He reminded her.
“Fine then you just upped your week.”
“Mom!”
“If you wouldn’t have put that bubble bath in the pool, and that whipped cream on your sisters face then you wouldn’t have been grounded.” Lex reminded him of his evil pranks.
“Well Charlie did put the whipped cream on her face.” Dave said managing an evil smile.
“David do you get what we’re saying?” Lex said more calmly.
“I’ll try.”
“It’s a start.” Chloe said and kissed his forehead.
“While you’re off this week you can help me around the house.” Chloe said happily. David groaned. I love my family… Lex thought.

After school the rest of the kids piled home except for Lilly. Lex decided to just stay home for the rest of the day. He knew he had that meeting tonight. Lex looked at his watch. He stood in his office. He sighed. Danny and Julian ran to him and tackled him.

“Dog pile on dad!” Danny yelled knocking him to the floor. Lex went into laughing fits and tackled his boys.
“You were hiding in the shadows again weren’t you?” Lex asked as he playfully fought his two boys.
“Hey you taught us.” Julian piped up.
“Jules rub his head!” Danny demanded and Jules rubbed his own father’s head.
“Anything but that!” Lex protested and teased playfully. Lilly came in her father’s office a little late. Lex looked up at his daughter who was looming over him. The boys stopped fighting.
“C’mon Jules that’s our cue.” Danny said and he and Jules left the office.
“Aww but I wanna watch.” Julian complained as Danny led him out.

“You’re late.” Lex said seriously as he got up.
“I know.” Chloe came in the room.
“Lilly have a seat on the couch.” Chloe said. Lilly sat in the middle and her parents sat beside her on either side.

“Why do you stay out so late?” Lex asked more serious now. Lilly shrugged her shoulders.
“I don’t know.” She lied and curled her bottom lip in.
“There must be a reason sweety. People don’t normally stay out till 2 in the morning with no reason.” Chloe added. Lilly sighed. She didn’t like sharing her personal feelings. (a/n: Sound familiar?)
“I just don’t like it when my brother’s terrorize me. Remember what happen to Justin?”
“Oh yes I remember.” Lex said as he rubbed his chin and went to a flash back.

Justin sat at the dinner table eating not realizing that he started to break out in a rash. He couldn’t have sea food because he was allergic to it. Well Danny had put some sea food seasoning on his plate when no one was looking. Justin started choking and everyone panics. Danny only pretended to panic. Lilly saw her brother smile evilly.

“Danny!” She yelled bloody marry and chased him around the house with Lex running after her. Chloe gave Justin some medicine for just such a thing.

Lex came out of his flashback.
“I see your point. That doesn’t mean that you go sneaking off. Your brothers and sister go to bed at 10 just like you do. If you have a complaint see one of us. Will work something out.” Lilly felt a little better. She scoffed remembering that he Just had dumped her.
“Justin dumped me that night.” Lilly said disappointedly accenting dumped. She rested her fist on her chin and blew her hair out of her face.
“Just promise us you’ll be home by 10 from now on?” Chloe pleaded as she brushed her daughters hair out of her eyes. Lilly looked at her then her father as if thinking about it.
“Ok.”
“And don’t make me wake you up a million times.” Lex added.
“Dad, you’re pushing it.” Lilly pointed a finger at him.
“Now about your punishment.” Lex said evilly with an evil smile. Lilly felt disappointed again.
“We decided to punish you after the party. So your grounded next week.” Chloe said and smiled. Lilly felt much better.
“You also get to help me around the house.” Chloe smiled bigger and a groan came from Lilly.
“Also?”
“David got suspended.” Lilly scoffed.
“Dad, I don’t know how you put up with us.” Lilly said as she got up. Chloe and Lex followed.
“Years of therapy.” Lex joked and winked at his daughter. She gave him a slight teasing push with a smile. Lilly left for her room.

“I need a vacation.” Lex said like that was a hard work out.
“We could always run away.” Chloe said jokingly sitting beside him taking his hand and kissed the top of his hand. He smiled at her.
“Tempting. I was thinking more along the lines like a night to our selves in Metropolis.” He had that seducing look that made Chloe hot. She returned one back.
“Why don’t we go in the other room and cool off?” Lex chimed. Chloe smiled.
“I like the way you think Luthor.”

As they started to walk out of his office Lex remembers his meeting.

“I’m sorry Chloe were going to have take a rain check. I have a meeting tonight.”
“It’s ok. We can just do it later.” She winked at him.
“As long as you’re up. You’ve been sleeping a lot lately.”
“Well that’s what you do when you’re pregnant, but you wouldn’t know anything about that would ya?” She said.
“No but I experience the thrills of it’s affect.” He added.
“It hasn’t been that bad Lex. Admit it.”
“Well there was that one time where you made me give you fifty million dollars to enter this room.” He smiled.
“I don’t have to hear this.”
“Oh and then there was that time where you wouldn’t let me kiss you. That was torture.” Lex said complaining to his wife of her wild hormones.
“Now your pushing it.” They started walking out of the room and into the hall.
“I could push you all night.” Lex smiled evilly. He pulled her back and her back bended. He kissed her hoping he changed her mind.
“I won didn’t I?” He said as he held her. She looked up at him and smiled.

Next episode something happens to Lex’s Porsche. *evil smile* :D

Episode Two: Dad’s Porsche/Alexander’s dilemma
Tuesday late afternoon around 4…
Danny sneaked into the kitchen late in the afternoon. No one was in there. He dumped the sugar out of the sugar jar into the trash and put salt in it in the sugar jar. He knew his sister Lilly always had coffee late in the day. He quickly cleaned up his mess on the counter. He never knew where Lilly was lurking about.

“Planning your next assault?” Lilly said bitterly folding her arms across her chest giving him a death look. Danny jumped but managed to hide his emotions. He must get it from his father.
“No why would I do that?” He lied. Lilly turned on the stove to heat up the kettle.
“If I find out that you’ve done something I’ll kill you.” She threaten pushing him away making him feel afraid. Danny gulped in fear.
“Whatever.” Was all he could think of. He left the kitchen. A few minutes the kettle whistle blew. That was music to Lilly’s ears. She got out a mug and began putting coffee in it, then the “sugar”. She poured the water and stirred. When she took a sip it tasted awful.
“Danny!” She yelled while putting her cup down. She found him by the kitchen door on the outside.
“Uh oh.” He was frighten of his sisters threat. She wasn’t going to kill him just make him suffer. She chased him around the house. He was a fast little bugger. They ended up bumping into their parents who looked at them with a glare. They both stopped dead in their tracks and gulped. Lex folded his arms across his chest. Chloe didn’t look happy either.

“H-hi dad.” Danny tried his best to sound nonchalant but he wasn’t quite there yet. He sounded too nervous.
“What’d he do now?” Lex asked Lilly.
“He poured salt in the sugar jar again.” Lilly said frustratingly.
“Danny, how many times have we told you?” Chloe pleaded with her son to behave properly.
“I don’t know I lost count.” I could use some strong booze right about now. Lex thought. He had to keep his stash of alcohol under lock and key.
“Danny apologize to your sister.” Chloe demanded.
“Sorry.”
“Maybe I’ll forgive you.” Lilly retorted.
“Lilly.” Lex said quickly.
“Fine. Twerp.” Lilly said in a forgiving way as she ruffled her brother’s hair. They left their parents alone.

“I think we should run away.” Chloe said. He smirked.
“I think we should go to Metropolis really soon.” She added.
“I don’t have any plans tomorrow night. I’m sure Clark and Lois wouldn’t mind baby sitting.” Lex said.
“I’ll give him a call.” Chloe went downstairs to call Clark and Lex went back in his office to pour himself some scotch. He stopped drinking ever since his kids arrived but he still enjoyed a few drinks here and there.

“Dad? Can I talk to you about something?” Alexander said poking his head in the door way. Lex looked up startled.
“Sure Alex you don’t need to ask. What’s up?” Lex asked as he sat at his desk and put his glass on the table.
“I have this friend who drinks a lot. He’s only 17. I’m worried about him. Should I tell his parents?” He asked nervously. Lex took a sip and thought for a bit.
“Isn’t that up to him son?”
“Well I guess but he shouldn’t drink and drive.”
“Ah now I see. You weren’t with him were you?” Lex asked feeling a bit worried now for his oldest son. The respective one.
“Sort of but I didn’t drink. I drove him home. He was… drunk.” Lex nodded his head. He was worried for his son and didn’t want him around minors.
“I’m really worried dad. What if he gets in an accident?” Alexander said as he sat across from his dad’s desk.
“Then you should tell his parents despite that he may hate you at first, but he’ll hopefully thank you.” Alexander thought for a bit.
“Thanks dad. Oh and dad you never picked me up.” He reminded him.
Lex smirked. “I’m sorry Alex,” He was cut off.
“It’s ok. I got a date out of it.” He winked to his father and started to leave.
“That’s what I’m talking about! The Luthor charm lives on! So what are you going to do?” He asked.
“I’m going to tell his parents.” He said as he turned around. Lex smiled at himself for a job well done. What if his friend does hate him and what if Alexander hates you? Lex’s evil half taunted. He wasn’t all partially good. Lex groaned. ‘Shut up.’ Lex told his other half off.

Outside Danny and Julian were getting into mischief as usual.

“Hey Danny c’mere.” Julian whispered. He grabbed his father’s keys to the Porsche out of his pocket.
“Look what I got?” He said waving them in front of his brother’s face. Danny awed and grabbed them.
“Let’s ride the Porsche!” Danny said kind of loudly.
“Shhh! Dad has ears everywhere!” Julian said. They found the Porsche and Danny got in the car and started it up.

“Where’d you learn that?” Julian asked.
“From dad.” He shrugged his shoulders. The seat was too low for him but he managed to see out the window.
“How did he do it?” Danny asked himself and found the gears. He put it in reverse.
“Well dad always wears his seat belt.” Julian informed him.
“Jules, cool people don’t wear seat belts.” Danny told him. Julian put his on anyway. Danny found the gas peddle and backed down the drive way while swerving a lot.
“I’m getting car sick.” Julian complained.
“Oh stop your whining I’m not that bad.”
“I think you’re better at it in video games.” They rolled down the drive and ran into a tree causing a dent in the back of the car. Danny and Julian were both stunned out of their wits.

“Dad’s gonna kill us!” Danny said drastically.
“We? You were the one that drove it!” Julian said whimpering out of the plan.
“You found the keys!” Danny bantered back. “Maybe if I just drive it back up he won’t notice anything.” Danny put the car in drive and started driving up the drive only to see his father walk out with a stern look on his face. Danny looked at him afraid. He stopped the car and put it in park.

“H-hi d-dad. Whassup?” Danny said coolly.
“Get out of the car.” Lex said kind of quickly with an angry tone. Danny put the car in park, and they got out of the car and Danny gave Lex the keys. Lex didn’t say anything because he was too angry. He looked behind the car and more anger crept up. He still didn’t say anything. The kids knew what that meant.

“Great he’s giving us the silent treatment.” Julian whispered in Danny’s ear.
“I’m aware of that Sherlock.” Danny whispered back. The silent treatment was torture to the kids.
“Please tell your mother what you did I have to go to Metropolis.” He said sternly and took a different car to the landing area for the Helicopters.
Lex called Chloe on her cell informing of her what the boys did and told her to give them the silent treatment. Then he left to settle his demonstration slash deal.

That night Lex came home around 9:30PM. He was tired and just wanted to sleep. Chloe was in bed but she was reading. Lilly walked in the front door frustrated and upset about something.

“Men are trash.” She said harshly while walking past her father and went into the kitchen. Lex followed her in. She got out a bottle of water from the fridge and took a sip.

“What happen?” Lex asked curious.
“I caught Scott kissing another girl! He’s a player I hate those kind of men!” Lilly said being hysterical about it.
“Maybe he wasn’t meant for you.”
“Thanks dad. I really liked him.” Lilly said not so pleasantly.
“Lillian you’ll find that special someone trust me.” He said reassuring her.
“Dad, I like Lilly.” She smiled a little.
“That was your grandmother’s name.” Lex informed her for the millionth time.
“I know. It’s just awful what happen.” Lex had told her what happen because she could understand it. He would eventually tell all of his kids when they were old enough to understand and handle the awful truth about his mother.
“No matter how you may feel about grandfather or how he feels about you, I’ll always love you.” She encouraged her father. Lionel was in his 80’s and lived at a home in Metropolis. Lex smiled.
“How did I get such a great kid?” He asked her.
“You raised me dad.” She smiled.
“True. How did I get such pranksters?” He added and he and Lilly shared a laugh. An idea crept into Lilly’s mind.
“Dad, I have a plan on how we can get Danny back fair game.” Lex smiled evilly.

“Lex?” Chloe asked as she came into the kitchen.
“Lilly it’s good to see you at regular hours.” Chloe said happily.
“Lex, Clark said he’d love to watch our kids tomorrow night.” Lex felt relieved to get out of the house.
“Are you guys going somewhere?” Lilly asked and took another sip.
“Your mother and I are going to Metropolis for the night.”
“Can I come?”
“Sorry were flying solo.” Lex shrugged his shoulders.
“Can you just imagine the feedback I’d get if I went to Metropolis on a school night?” Lilly piped up getting ideas in her head. Lex sighed.
“Lilly I’m sorry maybe some other time on the weekend.” Lilly felt frustrated with her parents yet again. She didn’t realize that they wanted time a lone.
“Dad! The people worship Metropolis at Smallville High. If you go there on a school night you’re popular!” Lilly complained putting pressure on her parents. They didn’t give in because they didn’t like the idea.
“Funny that’s not how it was when I went.” Chloe said reminiscing.
“Times have changed mom. And you're,”
“Watch it.” Chloe snapped with the age thing.
“Sorry Lilly it’s out of the question end of discussion.” Lex said. Lilly groaned.
“You should get to bed.” Chloe demanded.
“Good night guys.” Lilly went up stairs and went to bed.

“So are you up for a little one on one?” Lex asked giving her another seductive look. Chloe yawned.
“Sorry Lex I’m dead tired.” She wrapped her arms around him and leaned on his chest.
“Can we at least kiss?” He longed to be naughty.
“Sure.” She almost fell asleep on him. Lex groaned. He carried her up the stairs and laid her in bed. She smiled at him as he pulled the covers over her.

“I’m sorry Lex.” She apologized as he got in on his side of the bed.
“Exactly how many months till number 7 is born?” He asked with a complaint.
“8 months. You can pull through this Lex. It’s not the end of the world just because you can’t be naughty for a night.”
“It is for me.” He kissed her deeply. He managed at least a few kisses.
“I’m cutting you off Lex. I think you had enough.” Chloe teased being serious about it.
“I’ll tell you when I had enough.” He said firmly playing a long.
“Maybe if your nice we can be naughty in the hotel room.” She winked at him. Lex stopped kissing her knowing she won.
“I hate it when you do that.” He kissed her one more time and laid his head on the pillow staring at her.
“What is it about you that turns me on?” He asked as he held her hand.
“I’d like to ask you the same question.” They both smiled at each other.

Episode Three: The prankster gets a prank/Chloe and Lex’s date
Spoilers: Cool
Wednesday morning
“Guys we have an announcement.” Lex said at the breakfast table in the kitchen.
“Dad, we already know mom’s pregnant.” Danny reminded him. Lex smirked.
“That’s not the point. We’re going out tonight to Metropolis. Clark and Lois are going to watch you guys and they’re bringing Rachel and I need you, especially you Danny to be nice to her. She recently cut her leg deep.” Lex informed them and took another bite of food.
“How do you get pregnant?” Julian asked. Chloe and Lex looked at each other stunned.
“Will tell you when your older.” Chloe said.
“Much older.” Lex added.
“But I wanna know now.” Julian complained.
“I can tell you.” Alexander said.
“Junior.” Chloe snapped giving him a death look. Alexander hated it when she called him that. He cowed away at her death look.
“Oh dad I got a solo in the orchestra. Are you guys still coming to the concert?” Charlie said happily.
“We wouldn’t miss it for the world sweety.” Lex said with a smile.
“Hey who’s going to take me to my soccer game?” David complained. Chloe and Lex remembered that Charlie and David both had events at the same time.
“Maybe Alex could take you.” Chloe said.
“But who’s going to watch me win?” David complained. The parents both had a dilemma.
“Mom do you have any idea how embarrassing it is dropping your younger brother off?” Alex complained.
“Sorry I’m such a disappointment.” David mocked.
“Alexander.” Lex scolded.
“You’re on thin ice Junior.” Chloe snapped and ate some more food.
“Bye guys.” Alexander said and left the table feeling kind of frustrated.
“Chloe how bout you go to the game and I’ll watch Charlie.” Lex suggested.
“It’s fine with me I would love to see my son play.”
“Mom! The last time you got too aggressive. You beat the crap out of the refery guy.” David reminded her. Chloe blushed a little.
“Oh yeah he did piss me off.”
“Chloe language.” Lex reminded her sternly.
“Well I’m outtie.” Lilly said and left. She was too bored listening to them argue.
“He let a guy on the other team get away with injuring my son! What was I supposed to do?” Chloe protested.
“Control your temper.” He flaunted. David felt embarrassed. He gave a sigh and put his hand on his fore head in embarrassment.
“If you keep it up I’ll cut you off for a week.” Chloe threaten the kissing and naughty things. She knew Lex couldn’t stand one night with out endless kissing. Lex felt defeated. He backed out like a dog with his tale between his legs. Chloe smiled evilly thanking God for her evil ideas. Chloe knew how to torture her husband.
“I gotta go. Bye sweety.” Lex said and gave her a kiss goodbye.
“Don’t forget tonight.” She called after him as he left. He nodded his head as his reply.
“Well Charlie, Danny and Julian are you ready?” Chloe asked with her hands claps together. They all nodded their heads.
“David when I get back I expect the table to be cleared cleaned off, and help Nathan with the dishes.” She demanded and Dave groaned. Nathan was their butler as well as Door watchmen at night. He was used to Lilly coming home at 2 in the morning as well. He did love this family a lot. He also liked how they all treated him with respect and kindness. He also enjoyed watching their pranks.

The Luthor clan piled into the mini van except for David who cleaned up while muttering under his breath.

“At least I don’t have to go to school.” He thought aloud as he cleared the table.

When Chloe came home the table was cleaned off and spotless. She sighed with relief. She was a stay at home mom and occasionally worked at the Talon with Lana. Lana had gone back to work when Martha couldn’t work anymore. Chloe had David do some odd chores around the house like clean the toilet, clean his room, and just help where ever he could.

Lex came home a little later then normal. It was about 6 in the evening and they were supposed to leave at 6. Clark and Lois came right on time. They entered the office with Sparky their new dog. Lex panicked a little. He wasn’t much of a dog lover. Sparky came up to Lex and started sniffing his shoes. Clark saw that Lex looked scared.

“Sparky!” Clark snapped while snapping his fingers together. Sparky came to Clark. He saw Danny and barked.
“Whoa! They brought their dog!” He said excitedly and grabbed his leash chain. Sparky took off and Danny fell to the ground dragging him out of the office.
“Don’t ride him!” Lois yelled after Danny.
“Clark can you please take Sparky outside?” Lex said a bit desperate. He was trying to calm his heart down. Lex noticed that Rachel’s scar was faint and almost completely healed.
“Rachel I could’ve sworn that your cut was deeper.” He said as he bent down to touch it. Clark stopped him.
“We used a very strong anti bacterial cream.” Clark said trying not to sound nervous or look it. Lex looked at Clark oddly.
“Very strong.” Lois added reassuring Lex that Rachel was A Ok. Rachel did have super powers like Clark, but she was able to get hurt and heal quickly. She wasn’t allergic to meteor rocks like Clark was. It’s weird because Clark is Kryptonian and Lois is human. Lex was a little freaked out but shook his head. He looked at his watch.
“Thanks again Clark. Please keep the dog outside.” He said as Chloe started heading for the door. They both left leaving Lois and Clark in charge.

On the way to the limo Lex and Chloe talk.

“So how come you were late?” Chloe said. They both felt relieved to get out of the house away from their maniac children.
“Oh Bruce Wayne was in the office and we caught up on things no big.” Lex knew that Chloe adored Bruce Wayne. They became best friends ever since Lex introduced them.
“Why didn’t you tell me? I would’ve loved to chat with him!” Chloe protested as they got in the limo. The driver went after they got in.
“That’s what I’m afraid of. I don’t want you smitten with him.” Lex teased but still acted his usual serious self.
“Lex we do not smit. We are just good friends. Just like you and Clark are good friends.” Chloe assured the jealous Luthor.
“Are you jealous when I’m alone with him?” Chloe asked anxiously awaiting his reply. Lex had yes written all over his face. Chloe could read it clear as a bell. He hesitated before answering.
“Well I,” Chloe cut him off.
“You are aren’t you? That’s hot Lex.” Chloe said slightly hitting his chest.
“You think it’s hot when I’m jealous? You are too obsessed Chloe Luthor.” He said and kissed her.
“I can’t help it if I’m addicted to you. Besides it shows how much you truly care about me.” Lex smiled at her and brushed her cheek with his fingers.
“And I would never do anything to hurt you or our marriage. To be perfectly honest I can’t live with out you and our amazing kids.” She added. Lex began feeling mushy inside.
“I know honey. I would never hurt you either, our marriage or our family. I love you more then life its self. If I could I would freeze time so we could spend eternity together.” He had that passionate look in his eyes that made Chloe hot.
“Kiss me.” She demanded. He did her bidding with pleasure.

Back at the house Lois, Clark, Rachel, Danny, and Jules are outside by the frozen lake.

“This brings back memories.” Clark said as he looked at the frozen lake, and held Rachel in his arms. Rachel was 6 years old.
“Clark, why is the lake frozen?” Danny asked as he got closer to it.
“Please don’t go on the ice and I’ll tell you.” Clark demanded with a pleading tone. Clark was like their God father to them. Or so Lex claimed. Danny did as he said. It was kind of cold out and you could see their breaths. It was mid fall close to Halloween. Clark put Rachel down.
“A few years ago,” Clark began but Danny cut him off.
“You mean centuries.” Danny chimed as he high fived Jules. Clark didn’t look too pleased at them making fun of his age.
“Anyway, there was a guy who got affected by a green meteor rock.” Clark was interrupted again.
“I thought meteor rocks were in space?” Jules informed him.
“A few years ago there was a meteor shower here.” Lois told him. Clark went on with his story.
“There were green meteor rocks in that lake when he drowned in there. He came back to life and he couldn’t stay warm. He needed body heat to stay warm so he went around killing and stealing body heat from women. Your mother almost got killed but I saved her. The guy went so far as to go after my friends and your father for body heat. He was even going to attack my mother. I couldn’t let him do that to my family and friends, so I stopped him. I pushed him in the lake, and it froze over and that’s why it’s frozen today.”
“Daddy I’m scared.” Rachel said and held her arms up for him to pick her up which he did.
“There’s nothing to be afraid of sweety.” He kissed her forehead. Danny and Jules were taking this in thinking they almost lost their parents. They were glad they survived.
“Sounds like a camp fire story.” Lois retorted. “Smallville really is weird.” She admitted for the thousandth time.
“Let’s go inside it’s getting kind of cold.” Clark said.
“I have a hankering for smores now. Who wants one?” Lois said.
“Me!” Danny and Jules said racing into the back door of the house.

Meanwhile back in Metropolis we find our favorite couple at the fanciest restaurant in town. Lex was being paranoid about leaving his kids with Clark and Lois. He kept thinking that something bad was going to happen. Why did they always have to terrorize him? And why was Lilly sneaking out night after night? Chloe looked at her worried husband. They both dressed up for their night out. Lex loved seeing Chloe in dresses.

“Lex relax.” Chloe said jerking him out of his thoughts. He felt her hand touch his.
“I could’ve sworn I heard a siren.” He was getting a little sweaty on his face. Chloe slid over to him. They sat in a corner booth.
“Why don’t we snuggle in the hotel room?” She suggested as she lay her head on his arm. It was comfortable to her.
“At least pretend to relax.” She begged. Lex smirked.
“I’m sorry Chlo. I’m just a little paranoid tonight.” He kissed her head.
“Lex we trust Clark. He’s very trust worthy trust me.” She said and he believed her.
“Lilly never came home from school did she?” Lex asked. His worries vamped up to 100 percent. Chloe didn’t remember seeing her come home. She grunted.
“We need to have a talk with her.” Chloe said feeling sorry for her child.
“I could use a drink.” He took a sip of his scotch. Chloe still stay snuggled up on his shoulder and wrapped her arm around his waist.
“Mmm I love tasting alcohol on your lips. I find it rather sexy.” Lex smiled and took a bigger gulp.
“Who are you and what have you done with my wife?” Lex teased. Chloe smiled and kissed him tasting scotch.
“I just get so hot for you when were a lone.” She had her hands in his cheeks.
“I’m glad I marry you then.” He smiled and she smiled back.
“It was the best thing that ever happen to me.” She said now getting on his lap releasing her hands from his cheeks. He held her close.
“I think we should snuggle in bed.” He said. Chloe went out her side and Lex left the bill on the table. The restaurant was inside a hotel. It was pretty popular through out Metropolis. The two love birds went upstairs to their room.

“Clark, can I talk to you for a sec?” Lilly said coming in the door of the mansion. It was 7:00. Lilly was on time for once.
“Lilly I was so worried about you why didn’t you call?” Clark said sounding worried.
“I don’t have to call all the time. Dad trusts me. I need you to help me get Danny back. I want him a lone in dad’s office. We’re going to scare him together.” She demanded. She hoped he would say yes.
“What’d he do anyway?” Clark asked curious now.
“He put salt in the sugar jar again.” She said bitterly. Clark smiled and thought it was funny.
“Don’t tell me you side with dad. He’s always taking Danny’s side the little ba,…” Lilly was about to say a bad word.
“Language Lilly.” Clark reminded her.
“Please Clark?” She begged and curled out her bottom lip. Clark couldn’t resist.
“Sure. I’ll call him to come to the office.” Lilly smiled and hugged him.
“I love you!” She rushed off to her father’s office. Danny’s going to get just what he deserves. Lilly thought on the way to her dad’s office.

Back at the hotel room Chloe and Lex are reminiscing.

“Do you still like Clark?” Lex asked between kisses.
“Oh heavens no. I love him as a friend. I’m over my Clark obsession. I’m still surprised he didn’t go off and marry Lana.” She said.
“What did you see in him anyway?” Lex asked.
“I thought he was handsome and he’s a really great friend. I still think he’s handsome.” She said and went to kiss her husband but he backed away out of jealousy.
“Lex, you’re the one I want not Clark. He’s married. I still think he’s cute. Am I aloud to think he’s cute?” Chloe said and saw Lex’s mouth hanging open. She could see the jealousy in his eyes. She sighed while making a gargling sound in her throat.
“Well since we’re being honest I thought Lana was hot.” Chloe was about to slap her husband before she could think twice she did. After realizing what she just did she felt bad.
“Oh Lex I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean too.” She said desperately while reaching for his hurt cheek, but he jerked away. No reply came from Lex. He scoffed and still looked away. Chloe bit her index finger. Here he wanted a romantic evening and he gets a slap from the love of his life. It was about a minute of silence.
“No you did. I understand. I don’t want Lana Chloe. You’re the love of my life.” Chloe smiled but still felt guilty for slapping him. Chloe thought he deserved it for even liking the pink princess.
“I don’t get what every guy sees in her.” Chloe said out of jealousy. Lex smirked.
“She’s very attractive Chloe.” He reminded her which made her want to slap him again.
“She’s a bitch.” She put down her own friend.
“Chloe language.”
“We’re not around our kids Lex. Besides I thought you deserved that slap.” She said stubbornly. Lex scoffed.
“For liking Lana Lang? Chloe are you jealous?” Lex said with a winning smile.
“Yes! Are you happy now?” Lex chuckled out of sheer enjoyment.
“Very. You were right Chloe it is hot.” Chloe looked away only to have her lips meet his. It was tempting to push him away and chastise her lips from him. She knew he couldn’t stand one night with out kissing. Let a lone a day. He was pathetic really.

Meanwhile back at terror mansion…

Danny came into an empty office. He was confused that no one was there. Or so he thought. He crept farther in and stood by the balcony that was above him.

“Clark?” Danny asked suspiciously. Before he knew it he felt a cold liquid being poured over his entire body. He was startled. Lilly had gotten him with a bucket of ice cold water. Danny shivered and looked up and saw Clark and Lilly laughing hysterically.
“Lilly!” He screamed. Lilly gave Clark a high five. Clark had moved the couch out of harms way for this little prank.
“I told you I would get you back.” Lilly said happily.

Back at the hotel.
Chloe and Lex lay in bed after an intense make out session. Both panting for air.
“Lex that was amazing as always.” She said between breathes.
“Thanks baby.” Chloe rolled her eyes.
“Lex, who’s going to what event this Saturday? I’d love to go to David’s game. I promise I’ll behave.” She promised while placing a kiss on his lips. Lex smirked with a smile.
“I’d love to go to Charlie’s concert. You know how much I love classical music.”
“Do you?” Chloe asked suspiciously not remembering that he was a classical music buff.
“Chloe, my father taught me all about it which made me fall in love with it. I think our child is going to end up being a fine violinist someday. Besides I play the piano remember?” Chloe smiled.
“Yeah I remember. I love musicians.” She said sexy like and kissed him again.
“What about sexy business men?” He taunted her.
“I think Bruce Wayne is sexy.” She said. She loved to torture him.
“Chloe you can stop with the jealousy game.” He said seriously.
“You’d crack wouldn’t you? If we got divorced.”
“Chloe don’t say that.” He said desperately in a whisper. She felt him trembling. Just thinking about it scared the crap out of him.

“I’m sorry Lex. I didn’t mean to scare you. I was thinking out loud.” She said as she placed her fingers over his lips. She held him close and his head lay on her shoulder. He was so scared of loosing her it made him sick. She caressed his head in her hand. With her other arm over his stomach.
“I can’t let go of you Chloe. Not ever. You’re mine till death do us part.” He reminded her.
“I can live with that.” She said encouraging him. Lex looked at the clock. 9PM.
“Where did the time go? We need to get home. I told Clark I’d be home by ten.” He said. He put his shirt back on as well as the rest of his clothes. Chloe did the same.
“Let’s run away. Or at least let them have the house.” Chloe was desperate now. She was enjoying her night a lone with her husband. Lex smirked at her smiling bigger.
“Will let Clark handle our kids. I’m sure he’d have fun with that.” He said as he put his belt on.
“I don’t think he could handle the pranks. He’d go crazy.”
“That’s funny.” Lex said with a chuckle. “We can make out on the way home.” He added. Chloe smiled to that. They left for the hour and a half ride home.

Scott Lilly’s boyfriend well ex rather walks in the office and notices the floor was wet.
“Lillian you have a visitor.” Nathan said and left. She looked up happily then a frown formed.
“What do you want?” She said bitterly.
“C’mon Danny.” Clark said taking his hand out of the office.
“I wanna watch.” Clark pulled harder on the boy making him wince.

“I can’t get you outta my head Lilly. I’m sorry I kissed that other girl. I don’t want her I want you.” He said desperately. Lilly didn’t look too thrilled.
“You should be sorry. How could you Scott? I like you I mean really like you.” She confessed her feelings for him.
“How can I repay you?” He said desperately to get her back.
“You can take me to Metropolis.”
“Now?” Lilly nodded her head yes.
“Lilly, it takes six hours to get to Metropolis.” He informed her of the distance.
“Not if your father is Lex Luthor, and you have a helicopter.” She said with an evil smile.
“I have the coolest girlfriend.” Scott said.
“I know.” Lilly smiled brightly and kissed him. They left for Metropolis with out telling Clark or Lois.

Episode Four: Metropolis on a school night/Bruce’s offer
Clark had put the kids to bed despite the arguments. Lois was pregnant with baby number two. They were slowly catching up to Chloe and Lex but they weren’t in any rush like they were. Actually they didn’t make out every night like they did… but enough about that on with the story. Chloe and Lex come home feeling high on the stars from a romantic evening and reminiscing. They walked in the door hand in hand and saw a worried Clark and Lois. Lex saw no sign of Sparky so he was glad.

“What’s going on guys? You look worried.” Lex said able to read their expressions. Clark sighed and looked at Lois for encouragement. She nodded her head.
“We think Lilly ran away.” Clark said waiting for the outburst. Lex clenched his jaw. Chloe looked like she was about to scream.
“As soon as that girl comes home I’m locking her in the wine cellar.” Lex said or Alexander. Whichever the two were on the same thought line.
“Alexander!” Chloe scolded.
“What? I’m just thinking outside the box. That girl has caused nothing but trouble since we brought her home from the hospital.” Lex reminded her as he headed for his office for some comfort in booze.
“No she hasn’t Lex.” Chloe protested defending her baby. Clark and Lois followed them into his office.
“Guys we really should put Rachel to bed.” Clark said.
“Alright Clark. Thanks again. Don’t bring the dog in the house anymore ok?” Lex said.
“Sure. Bye guys.” Clark, Lois, Rachel and Sparky all left Luthor Manor. Lex poured himself some scotch and downed the glass.

“Lex what are we going to do about Lilly?” Lex began thinking up ideas. Suddenly one came to mind.
“Nothing.” He said and poured another glass.
“Lex we can’t just let her get away!” Chloe protested.
“We’re not. I figured if we let her be on the edge of suspision she’ll crack any second.”
“I love it when you talk dirty.” Chloe smiled and kissed him tasting scotch on his lips. The two went to bed.

Meanwhile in Metropolis at a bar…

“Isn’t this great?” Scott said as he took a sip of his beer.
“Can I have a sip?” Lilly asked. Scott smirked.
“Sure baby.” Lilly took a sip and it was bitter to her. Two policemen came in the club and saw the couple. They looked awfully young. They walked up to Scott and Lilly.
“Excuse me ma’am. Can we see your I.D?” Said the cop. Lilly looked stunned. She pulled it out. The cop studied it.
“Uh huh. Can I see yours sir?” The cop said handing Lilly’s license back to her. Scott got out his license and gave it to the cop. The cop sighed.
“I’m sorry but I’m going to have to place you under arrest for underage drinking.” Lilly panicked. She knew her father would blow his stack. The cops cuffed them and took them to the prison.

2AM at Luthor manor. Chloe and Lex are sleeping. Lex wakes up to the sound of his cell. He answers it.

“This had better be good.” He said stubbornly. Who wants to be woken at 2 AM in the morning?
“Hi dad it’s Lilly.” Lilly began. Lex sat up in bed.
“Where are you?” He sounded cold. Lilly felt afraid.
“Prison.” She said that so naturally. Lex’s heart sank to the floor. He felt awful and angry. Not a good combination especially at 2AM in the morning.
“Where did you go?”
“I went to Metropolis. I got caught underage drinking.” Lex wanted to yell at his daughter for her stupidity but remained his cool. Chloe was awake listening to the conversation or at least trying to figure out what they were talking about.
“I’m going to pick you up and bale you out. We’re going to talk about a major punishment tomorrow.”
“Ok. Daddy I am sorry.”
“I know sweety. I’ll see you in a few. Bye.” Lex hung up his phone. Chloe sat up in bed and looked at her worried husband.

“She’s in prison in Metropolis. She was caught underage drinking.” Chloe hugged Lex for support. She felt just as angry as he was.
“Don’t worry Chlo. Will straighten her out. Just give her a few days in the wine cellar.” Lex said and managed a small smile.
“Lex,” Chloe protested.
“I know, I know. Bye babe.” He kissed her head and went to pick up his daughter.

Lex walked in the prison lobby and saw his daughter and Scott. He winced as he saw him.

“Lilly, you didn’t tell me that Scott was with you.” He said startled.
“Uh yeah. We got back together.” Darn. I knew that boy was nothing but trouble. Lex thought. Lex went to negotiate with the police. They let her off with a stern warning. Next time they wouldn’t be so forgiving. Lex thanked them much and took Scott to his house.

“Scott are you’re parents up?” Lex asked as he got out of the door.
“No.” He said dumbly. Lex smirked.
“Then you might as well wake them up and tell them what you did. Good night.” Scott closed the car door and Lex drove off. Scott felt terrible. On the way home it is silence between Lilly and Lex.

“Dad please say something. This silence is torture.”
“That’s the point Lilly.” Lex snapped. “I can’t believe you deliberately disobeyed me. How could you Lilly? You’re only 17!” Lex about yelled.
“I know, I’m sorry alright?”
“Well sorry isn’t good enough. You’re not going to that party you’re never going out of the house until I say so.” Lex demanded.
“What about school?” She asked.
“I’ll get you home schooled. I can’t trust you when you don’t come home right away. Is that what you want Lilly? Do you want us to loose our trust in you? Because that is not what me and your mother wants.” Lilly shed a tear and quickly whipped it away. She hid her sorrow.
“No but I am sorry.”
“How can we know that you won’t sneak out again? Why do you go out with that boy anyway? He’s the reason why you get into trouble.” Lex accused Scott.
“Some of it isn’t his fault…it’s mine.” Lex was stunned at his own daughter.
“Lillian Luthor you’re never leaving the house until I say so end of discussion.”
“I’ll just run away again.” Lilly pouted and folded her arms across her chest. This reminded him of how he was with his father all those years ago. He hoped that she wouldn’t turn out to be his enemy.
“No you won’t. I’ll make sure of it.” Lex threaten. Lilly screamed. They finally got home and Lilly slammed her door to her room. Lex locked it from the outside so she could never get out. He sighed feeling good about it. I’m sorry Lilly but it’s for your own good. Lex went to his room and slid in his side of the bed trying not to wake Chloe. He heard her groan. He laid his head on his pillow, and pulled up his covers.

“Is she safe?” Chloe asked her eyes still shut.
“Yeah. I locked her in her room. I figured if I can’t lock her in the wine cellar, her room would be fine.”
“Lex.” Chloe protested.
“Shhh go to sleep.” They shared a kiss and went to sleep.

Thursday Morning

Lilly woke up to the sound of someone banging on her door. It was her father yelling at her.

“Lilly! You better be up!” He yelled and left to go downstairs. Lex smiled as he left because she would soon find out that she was locked in her own room. How cruel can you get? Well when you have a daughter who sneaks out you’d know. Anyway I’ll continue after that rude interruption by Lex Luthor.. *clears throat* Yeah whatever. Don’t tempt me! Anyway, Chloe is still sleeping. Lex notices that she isn’t in the kitchen.
Lilly woke up shoved her covers off the bed. She was wicked tired from staying out all night. She went to open her door only she noticed it was locked from the outside. She tried to open it again but couldn’t get out.

“Dad!” She screamed hoping she would hear him. Lex was downstairs so he couldn’t have heard her. Lex went upstairs to her room and open the door half way.
“Good morning dear. It’s nice to see you awake. I’m sorry Lilly but this is for your own good.” He said and shut the door feeling really good about himself. Either that or it was Alexander. That’s one less kid out of the way. Now if you would only lock them all away. Alexander whispered evilly. ‘You’re lucky I went through with this. Admit it you love them too.’ Lex told him. No reply came from Alexander which meant that he did love them too. Lex smiled at himself and went downstairs to get his daughter some breakfast. Lilly screamed bloody marry and sat on her bed. Lex heard her and he smiled more knowing that he was getting to her. ‘She’ll thank me some day.’

Afternoon came all too fast. Lex sat in his office. He was about to go to lunch when he got a ring on his cell.

“Hello?”
“Hi sweety. I was wondering if I could go to lunch with you.” Chloe asked on the other line.
“Honey, it takes an hour and a half to get here by chopper.”
“I know that’s why I decided to come early.” Chloe came in the office and hung up her phone. Lex looked up at her and smiled and rushed into her arms and gave her a kiss.

“You always know how to brighten up my day don’t you?” He said. Chloe just smiled at him.
“Who’s watching Dave?”
“Oh I put Nathan in charge.”
“Is Lilly still locked in her room?” Chloe nodded her head yes.
“I still don’t like that but I’ll let you have it.”
“Good. Cause if you hadn’t I wouldn’t have slept with ya.” Lex smiled evilly. He took her hand and led her outside.
“Oh you would’ve cracked the first second.”
“You know me pretty well then huh?”

The two went across the street to a little café.

“Can I wait for you in your office?” Chloe said and took another bite of food. Lex smiled.
“Sure. I own the company now anyways.” Lionel had handed down Luthorcorp to him a couple years back, because he was getting older and couldn’t handle running the family business. Lex would do the same for Alexander if he wanted to run the family business. Lex wouldn’t put that kind of pressure on his kids.
“Chloe, this really is a surprise. Here I was frustrated and then you come a long to brighten my day. You are my sunshine Chloe please don’t take it away.” Lex was having a bad day. He didn’t cut a deal that he hoped would go well. You can never win them all. Chloe smiled feeling warm inside.
“That was very sweet Lex.”
“How’s the baby doing?” He asked and continued to eat his food.
“Fine as always. I hope I haven’t been a hassle with this pregnancy. I know I make you frustrated with it. You just have no idea how I feel.” Lex got the gist of it really.
“Don’t worry about it Chlo. I know you don’t mean any of the nasty stuff you say when you snap.”
“Do I?” She smiled evilly. Lex was startled.
“Chloe!” Lex protested. “I’m kidding Lex. I just love to torture you sometimes.”
“Why? Don’t you see it brings me down?” Chloe chuckled. Lex didn’t think it was funny.
“You’re so funny when I won’t let you kiss me. I’m sorry Lex but I enjoy watching you suffer.” She was so honest it killed him. He didn’t know what to think of this. Leaving was tempting. Even letting her to pay the bill was tempting. Lex’s eyes were wide as could be. Shock was written all over his face.
“You think it’s funny that I can’t last with out kissing you?” Chloe nodded her head yes and took a sip of her root beer.
“Lex, you can’t last one day with out kissing me let alone your petty pleasures.” She said daring. Lex scoffed.
“Well Chloe Sullivan Luthor, I’ll take that challenge. I bet you I can last one day with out kissing you or making out.” Chloe snickered and then cackled with laughter throwing her head back then forward. Lex didn’t find it funny. He rested his hand on his chin waiting for an answer. Chloe stopped laughing when she looked at him. She sighed.
“Alright fine. When do we start?”
“Tomorrow?” He narrowed his eyes in worry.
“Ah ha! I knew it.” She was so happy about this.
“Fine. Right now!” He said getting a little angry.
“It’s fine with me. Wait what do I get if I win?” She asked as she rested her chin on her hands. Lex sat back and thought for a bit.
“If you win, I’ll do anything you want.” He said not being afraid about it. Chloe liked the sound of that.
“What do I get if I win?” He asked back. “Same thing.”
“Now the real question is.. what does the looser get?” Chloe smiled evilly.
“A week with out sex.” Lex’s mouth dropped open. She knew he couldn’t last one day with out sex.
“C-can’t we make it something else? Like looser buys pizza?” Chloe shook her head no.
“Uh uh Mr. Luthor.” Lex didn’t like the sound of that. A week with out sex was like a week with out booze. Pull your self together Lex! You can do this! Will get her back when it’s over. Alexander whispered.
“You’re on. Since it’s the middle of the day, we go from now till tomorrow afternoon. Good luck, you’re going to need it.” He said getting up and leaving the money on the table. Chloe scoffed.
“Excuse me it’s you who are going to need it because I know for a fact, that you can’t handle one day with out a kiss.” She said in her whatever tone and started to leave. He scoffed and hurried after her.
“I beg to differ Mrs. Luthor.” He said as he held the door for her.
“Then prove it to me.” They were standing on the side walk blocking the entrance to the café.
“I will.” He hugged her and that’s all he could get. Chloe leaned close on him and whimpered.
“You can’t handle it either.” Chloe gathered up her courage to take him down. She broke from him and saw his smile.
“I could if I wanted to. With my eyes closed!” She nodded her head and started to walk to the Luthorcorp building. Lex rushed after her.
“Yeah right.” He said and took her hand. He began stroking it as they walked. That was torture to her because she knew she couldn’t kiss him. She yanked his hand away. He smiled triumphantly knowing he had affected her.
“You felt it didn’t you?” He taunted some more and open the door of the Luthorcorp building for her.
“Shut up.” She snapped at him. She went farther ahead of him to the elevator and pressed the button repeatedly.
“There’s nothing like a Luthor charm.” He started walking coolly towards her and did his best to look as sexy as possible. Chloe saw him and she began to loose it. He gave her a seducing look. She found that the ground looked more interesting to her. She lied to herself of course. Secretly she wanted to do him right there. The elevator finally came up and they stepped inside. She pressed the button again to his floor repeatedly.

“Chloe, once is enough.” He informed her. “You break it you bought it.” He said raised his eyebrows twice.
“It’s not like you can afford it Luthor.” She said deeply. Lex rolled his eyes. It was tempting to jump on him right there but she would loose if she did. He was right she couldn’t handle it, and here she thought she could. Way to go Chloe. When they reached their floor they bumped into Bruce Wayne. Chloe’s heart raced a mile a minute. She flew to him and hugged him.

“Hey it’s nice to see you too.” He said calmly a bit scared at her sudden out burst. Lex cringed at there embrace.
“I thought you left?” Lex asked like get the hell away from my wife.
“Lex, I have another week in Metropolis which I thought I would spend in Smallville.” Chloe had her arm around him. This is how I can get him to crack. She thought evilly. Lex gave a not so pleasant smile.
“I don’t have any plans so I was wondering if I could spend sometime with Chloe. If that’s ok with you Lex.” Bruce asked permission. Lex would say no but he knew how much Chloe loved his best friend.
“Fine.” Bruce smiled and Chloe rushed into her husbands arms. She almost kissed him but stopped before her lips touched his, they were inches apart. He smiled evilly. She winced.
“Thank you.” She whispered and hugged him.
“Chloe, I could’ve sworn you going to kiss him.” Chloe broke from their embrace.
“We are in the middle of a bet. No kissing or intense make out sessions till tomorrow afternoon.”
“Sounds like years of therapy waiting to happen.” Chloe had a case of dejavu.
“Well anyway good luck. Chloe are you ready?”
“Yeah. Well Mr. Luthor I’ll see you later.” She said shaking his hand. Lex felt a little weird about that. She went ahead of Bruce. Bruce started to leave but Lex stopped him.
“Bruce, if you make a move on my wife I’ll have you hunted and killed.” He threaten and slapped his back.
“Lex, I wouldn’t dream of it. I love your wife as a friend and nothing more.”
“See it stays that way.” Lex left for his office and the headache began.

Chloe and Bruce went to Smallville. Chloe was going to show him around. They walked in the Talon which looked slightly busy. Lana was behind the counter.

“This is the Talon. It’s owned by Lex of course and he shares it with Lana.” She informed him of the history.
“I like the Egyptian symbols. Very unique.” He said admiring the handy work.
“Thank you Mr. Wayne.” Lana said as she walked up to them. She thought he was the most gorgeous guy in Smallville. Bruce turned to look at her and didn’t seem impressed with her beauty. He gave a faint smile.
“You’re welcome Ms. Lang.” He said still having that faint smile on his face. Chloe could read his expression like a book. She also noticed that he didn’t seem too interested in the pomp, pomp queen.
“Oh you can call me Lana.” She assured him staring at him dumbly. She was caught under his spell and would probably do anything for him right then and there. Chloe was enjoying this moment. Finally a guy that is not head over heals for Ms. Lana Lang the pink princess.
“Would you like a cup of coffee?” She offered.
“No thanks.” Chloe felt someone’s hands over her eyes. She felt his hands with hers. She smiled and knew who’s touch it was. She knew his touch was all too familiar. She felt his breathing on the back of her neck.

“Who’s behind me?” She asked with a smile spreading across her face. Bruce turned around and saw Lex behind her. Lex shook his head no. Bruce stayed silent so Chloe could guess. She took his hands off her eyes and turned around. She almost kissed him but remembered their bet.
“I don’t like this bet Lex Luthor.” She whispered softly. Lex smiled evilly knowing that she too couldn’t handle a day with out kissing.
“It’s refreshing to know that you can’t handle it either.” They embraced each other in their arms. Chloe kissed Lex’s cheek just so she could feel his skin. He smiled lightly.
“Chloe, why don’t you just kiss him? That’s what you always do when you come here.” Lana suggested. She wasn’t aware of their bet. Bruce was going to tell her but Chloe interrupted.
“We had an argument last night. Very bad one.” She lied and gave a stern look at Bruce to keep quiet. Lex nodded his head in agreement.
“So whenever you two have an argument you refrain from kissing?” Lana said like that was nuts. They both nodded their heads yes.
“Yeah.” Chloe said.
“You guys need serious help.” Lana said and went back behind the counter. Lex took a step forward because he was angry at her. Chloe pulled him back.
“I’ll kill her.” Lex said quietly.
“Easy boy heel, heel.” She demanded. Bruce thought this was amusing.
“Well you two need sometime a lone. I’ll be in touch.” Bruce said and started leaving. Chloe didn’t get to talk to him that much. She felt disappointed.
“Bruce, wait! Why don’t you come over for dinner?” Chloe asked. Bruce smiled.
“Sure. What time?” Chloe smiled.

When they got home Lex went to the kitchen and saw Dave pouring Hershey’s chocolate syrup in his milk glass. Lex went to get a bottle of water from the fridge. The syrup was beginning to climb it’s way to the rim. Lex leaned on the counter as he watched his son pour the black liquid in his milk.

“Hi son.”
“Hi dad.” Lex paused to study his son.
“Dave, would you like some milk with your chocolate?” Lex said as he continued to watch his son pour the sugary stuff in his glass.
“Dad, it tastes better this way.” He confirmed. He filled his glass of milk with chocolate syrup half full. He then went to get a knife and began stirring. Lex watched with a disgusted look as the milk almost turned black.
“I hope you better not be staying up till five in the morning like last time.” Lex reminded him of the last time he did this. Dave mocked his father with his mouth, mouthing what he just said silently.

“I saw that young man.” Lex said as he took a sip from his bottle, and left to go find his wife.

It was getting close to dinner and Bruce would soon be over. Lex always kept his mansion cleaned. He had the kids help out once in a while and especially if they got in trouble at home, or at school. It was always in tip top shape. I guess you could say that Lex was kind of a professionalist. Bruce came in the front door and Dave and Danny rushed to him and piled on him knocking him to the floor.

“Bruce!” They shouted as he hit the floor. He was in laughing fits. He loved Lex’s kids.
“It’s good to see you too boys.” He said as he ruffled each other their hair. Clark, Lois and Rachel entered too. It was a family gathering tonight. Clark heard Lilly’s constant screams with his super hearing. She was yelling at her boyfriend over the phone. Clark saw Lex coming in the lobby.

“Hey Lex. Where’s Lilly?” Lex forgot that he locked her daughter in her room.
“Shoot! I locked her in her room.” He ran up the stairs and to her room. Clark was shocked that that’s how he would treat his kids.
“What’d she do anyway?” Lois asked but no one was listening to her.
“Bruce!” Chloe said and rushed into his arms.
“Hey Chlo.” Bruce said as they embraced each other.
“Oh don’t forget about me big guy.” Lois chimed in. Bruce smiled and hugged Lois too. Clark felt a hint of jealousy.

Upstairs Lex heard Lilly’s phone being slammed against the door. She screamed bloody marry.

“Lilly? You can come out now.” Lex went to open her door but it was locked. He heard some alternative music being played.
“Lillian Luthor this was not the plan! You’re not supposed to be locking me out!” Lex roared over the noise but Lilly turned it up louder. It was close to dinner time and Lex wanted to eat and relax. Lex smirked frustrated. He jiggled the door again. It still wouldn’t budge. Lilly smiled to herself as she picked up a magazine to read. She sat on the bed. Lex pounded on the door again.
“Lillian Luthor! Bruce Wayne is here! If you don’t open up you’re grounded for a year!” Lex threaten. Lilly heard him but it sounded muffled. She heard Bruce Wayne but not the last part. She turned off the music and open the door and saw a furious Lex. He was huffing and puffing. You could almost see his veins popping out on the side of his head.
“Oh dad you look awful.” Lilly said as she saw his expression. He pointed his finger to her.
“If you ever!” He began strongly.
“Relax dad. Take a load off.” Lilly patted his shoulder and waltzed downstairs like nothing happen.
“Where did she learn to hide her expressions?” He thought out loud to himself. Lex joined her in the kitchen where everyone sat down for dinner. They began passing the food around and chatting away.

“Did you see Batman, Bruce?” Danny asked excitedly with wide eyes, and he jabbed his fork in his chicken and ate it. Bruce smirked.
“Oh yes plenty of times. He’s quite the hero.” Clark scoffed silently.
“Is there something wrong Clark?” Bruce asked. Bruce was so observant at times.
“I was just admiring how yummy this food tastes.” Clark lied.
“Hello yummy?” Lois whispered in Clark’s ear. Chloe snickered a little at Clark’s choice of words. He never says yummy.
“Which reminds me. Lex, I would like to take your kids to Gothem next weekend. It’s Halloween and I think they could use some excitement.”
“That’s what worries me.” Lex said after he ended his sentence.
“On a school night?” Lilly perked up. Lex put down his utensils and glared at his daughter.
“No Lilly. What do you think Lex?” Bruce asked. Lex and Chloe exchanged worried glances.
“C’mon dad think about it. No nonsense this weekend. The house will be all yours.” Danny tempted his father. It was tempting. Bruce could read Lex’s worried expression about the safety of his kids.
“Lex, I understand you value you’re kids safety. Which is why I have provided extra precautions.” Lex didn’t like the idea of having his kids in Gothem. He trusted Bruce though and he always stuck to his word.
“Please dad?” The kids all begged in unison. Lex sighed giving up and the kids knew that that meant yes.
“Bruce,” Lex had that warning tone. Bruce already got the message.
“I know Lex. I promise.” Chloe was looking forward to a house full of silence. Finally she could think. Finally she and Lex could have some “fun”. The kids all cheered. Lex screamed freedom in his mind. He still had that worry doubt in him. What if something happen to one of his kids?

Episode Five: Chlex’s weekend off/Gothem city dangers

That night Lex was tossing and turning. He couldn’t get to sleep.

“Lex, how many times do you have to move?” Chloe complained. Lex flipped himself to look at Chloe. He glared at her angrily.
“I think we should call off the bet.” Chloe snickered. “So that’s why you can’t sleep. You are pathetic.” She joked. That made him more angrier.
“Good night Chloe.” He rolled over and did his best to fall asleep. Chloe just rolled her eyes.

The next morning Lex hugged his wife goodbye. He only had till lunch time till he could kiss her. He thought he wouldn’t make it. Lunchtime came and he rushed home. When Lex saw her in the kitchen they rushed to each other and began making out.

“Never again promise?” He said desperately.
“Promise.”

It was already next Friday and it was time to say goodbye to the kids. Lex worried so much because he knew Gothem was as dangerous as Metropolis if not worse. Lex was looking forward to a weekend of solitude. The house would be silent, he would be with the love of his life, and there would be no more pranks. He had to take Lilly off her restriction. He thought it would be good to get away. She was sad but excited at the same time. Sad because Scott had dumped her. Maybe now she wouldn’t get into anymore trouble.

Lex stare at Bruce with a worried expression on his face. He hoped and prayed that nothing will happen to his kids.

“Bruce, please protect my children at all costs.” Bruce knew that concerned tone.
“Don’t worry Lex there in good hands.” They said there goodbyes and they left for Bruce’s private jet. Lex sighed nervously and put his hands in his pockets. It was a rainy day out and the ground was wet, the sky was grey. Chloe slid her arm around his.

“Don’t worry Lex. I know Bruce will take good care of them. If they get in trouble I’m sure Batman will be there in a second.” Lex looked off in the distance, sighed and went inside with his wife.

A few hours passed. Lex has been drinking ever since the kids left. It was too quiet. He found Chloe in his office going over something. He approached her at his desk. He put his hands on his desk and leaned over.

“What are you doing?” She could smell the alcohol on his breath.
“I’m going over inventory for the Talon.” She said and began to mark some more gibberish on the papers. Lex pulled out a DVD from his coat pocket.
“The Lion King?” Chloe asked as she looked at it. Lex snickered.
“You’ve been going through Charlie’s DVD collection haven’t you?” Lex just smiled.
“I like how Scar likes to take over the valley.” “You’re one weird child Lex.”
“I just calls ‘em as I sees em.” Chloe knew that he was drunk because of how he was talking.
“How many drinks did you have?” She asked curiously. Lex lifted his hands off his desk stubbornly.
“Just a few. Let’s watch the movie I’m bored.” For the first time he was off duty.
“I need to finish this.” She stated. She wasn’t moving till it was complete. Lex gave a sigh of frustration. He went behind her and put his hands on her shoulders and started massaging them. She was enjoying it and she knew what he was up too. She stopped him.
“Lex, what is your problem?” She asked as she tore away his hands.
“My problem is that I barely get to spend enough time with you as it is. Our kids are out of state, the house is ours, and all you can do is work.” He complained. “For once I’m glad that I’m not the one who is always doing work.” He added. Chloe put down her pen. She knew that this weekend meant so much to him.
“Alright fine. As long as inventory can be late.” She winked at him.
“It’s a deal.” He took her hand grabbed the DVD and headed for the living room to watch it on the big screen.

Lex sat on the couch as Chloe was putting the movie in the DVD player. He saw her butt sticking out and it was tempting to smack it. So he did.

“Whoa!” She said in a high pitched tone, as she spun around to see him smiling deviously. She just smiled at him.
“I think you had way too much to drink.”
“Only a bottle but I can handle my alcohol.” Chloe pushed play and sat next to her drunken husband. The movie started with the main titles The Circle of Life. Lex started mocking the song in his “own way”. Chloe snickered. They watched as the animals on the big screen were going to pride rock.
“Isn’t Simba so cute?” Chloe asked as she cuddled up to him. They watched Raffiki holding up baby Simba over pride rock.

Meanwhile in Gothem city Bruce is showing them around in an art museum. Even though Lilly was depressed that her boyfriend dumped her she was rather glad to get away. Smallville reminded her of him.

“This is amazing.” Lilly said as she glided her fingers over an antique vase. It had a design of a flower on it.
“I’m glad you like it Lilly.” Clark kept a close eye on the kids for Lex. He knew how much they meant to him. He too was worried especially for his daughter, and Lois.
“I wonder what mom and dad are doing?” Danny asked as he looked at a random painting. Art wasn’t his thing.
“Probably making out no doubt.” Alexander chimed in.
“Gross.” Danny said disgustedly. “You’ll like girls someday Danny.” Bruce said.
“I doubt it.”
“Who wants ice cream?” Bruce said happily. Everyone said me. Bruce took them to a local ice cream parlor.

Back in Smallville.

“Oh I love this part.” Lex said as he watched the song “Be prepared” was being played. Chloe rolled her eyes. Lex was too into this movie.
“Lex, this is a children’s movie.” She exclaimed.
“Are you saying that I’m a child?”
“No only when you’re drunk.” She teased. Lex leaned on Chloe pushing her down on the couch and started making out with her.
“The kids aren’t home.” He chimed happily. “I got an idea. Why don’t we play hide and seek?” Chloe had to laugh. “You are a child.”
“I’ll count if it’ll make you happy.” Chloe smiled. She shoved the covers off her, turned off the movie and went to hide. “Count to a 100 backwards in Italian.” She yelled after her as she ran to hide. Lex began counting in Italian. Chloe went to hide in their room behind the bed so he wouldn’t see her. He got to one and started looking for her.

As the group stepped out of the ice cream parlor a gang of no do gooders, approaches them. They are wearing all black, and ski masks. Clark held on tightly to Rachel. Everyone froze in their tracks. Bruce got in the way incase anyone would get hurt. David was not behind Bruce he was out farther from the group.

“Mr. Wayne.” The guy in black said.
“What do you want?” Bruce said seriously. He knew Lex would be devastated if one of his children died. David was frozen. He began shaking. The guy punched Bruce in the stomach.

“No!” David yelled and went to punch him back but another guy shot David in the back.
“David!” Clark yelled. It was too late for him to speed over and save him.

Lex walked into his room. He looked around a bit. Chloe was on the floor behind the bed on Lex’s side of the bed.

“Where are you Chloe?” He asked sounding evil. Chloe heard his footsteps get closer. He saw her. She snickered.
“I found you.” He helped her up and they started kissing.

“Run!” Bruce yelled as he beat the crap out of the bad guys. Clark gave Rachel to Chloe. He rushed to help Bruce.
“Get out of here Clark!” He demanded. “I’m not leaving you.” Lois and the gang started rushing off to the limo that was a block away. Another guy was after them. He approached Charlie.

“Where are you going little girl?” Charlie was scared but she knew what to do. She kicked him in the balls. Her father taught her that when he was drunk. The bad guy fell to the ground.
“That’s for ruining my weekend.” She ran off with the rest of her family.

David was on the ground. He felt everything closing around him. He felt weak, and tired all of a sudden. Clark was by his side.

“David don’t die on me!” He demanded. “Clark, it’s so cold.” He picked him up in his arms and rushed him off to the limo. When Clark set him in the limo he noticed he wasn’t breathing. He felt his pulse. There was none. David was dead.

Chloe began counting in Spanish because Lex told her to. She got to one and went to find her husband. She went out to the hallway. Last time they did this he hid in the closet. She thought he might be there. She looked in the hallway closet and found him on the floor. He smiled up at her. They had no idea that they just lost their son. Lex’s phone went off. He had it in his pocket. He answered.

“Hello?”
“Lex, David died.” Clark sounded devastated. Lex slowly brought his phone down out of shock. His face tighten with sadness and anger.
“What is Lex?” Chloe was worried now.
“Lex, are you there?”
“How did this happen?” Lex began walking back to his office leaving a confused Chloe.
“There was a shooting.” Clark sounded like he wanted to cry. Lex felt angrier now. Bruce promised him safety for his children. Now he lets him down.
“Thanks Clark.” Lex hung up on Clark. He sat on his couch feeling depressed and angry.

“Lex, tell me what happen.” Lex leaned forward and rested his elbow’s on his legs. He folded his hands together.
“David got shot.” He paused. “I knew something like this would happen. Didn’t I tell you?” He started calm but grew angry. He got up and started pacing. Chloe felt hurt at the loss of her son. Her precious son who was a nightmare in her tummy.
“I’m going to Gothem.” He said as he got his coat. “I’m going with you.” Lex gave a frustrated sigh.
“Chloe, I don’t want to loose you too. Your staying put.” He demanded as he headed out the door. Chloe groaned and stayed at the mansion.

Lex walked into Wayne Manor on a rampage.

“How could you Bruce?” He yelled at his friend angrily. They were in the huge living room of the mansion. It was even bigger then Lex’s and a little more expensive too.
“Lex, I’m sorry.” Lex cut him off.
“I told you I didn’t want them here.”
“Dad, it’s not Bruce’s fault.” Lilly protested. Bruce and Lex went in a different room to talk.

“Lex, I really am sorry I didn’t get to him sooner. Believe me I would have.” He was so upset as Lex was.
“It’s not your fault. I’m just angry at the ass hole that did that.” Lex was so high on anger that all he wanted was revenge.

The next day was David’s memorial service. Everyone was dressed in black. Lex approached the podium. He hid his emotions with ease not letting anyone know how he felt. Even though he was torn up inside and pining after his son. Not a whole lot of people were there. Just friends of the family, Bruce, and Lionel.

“David was a good son. I’m sure he would’ve gone far with his athletic skills.” Chloe watched him as he spoke beautiful and memorial things about their son. She thought for sure that he was going to break down any minute. Not everyone could read Lex Luthor but she could. She knew he was upset. After the memorial service they went to the grave side to put David to rest.

Lex stood by the closed casket. He laid his hand on it once more. Chloe put a kiss on her fingers and put her fingers on the casket. Everyone threw flowers before they lowered it. Lex never broke down. He hated crying in public. No matter how hard he wanted to let loose, he wouldn’t let himself till he was in the privacy of his own room. The casket was being lowered and Chloe and Lex as well as everyone else, watched as David be put to rest.

On the way home the van was silent. Lex’s shoulders were tighten and stretched out far as he gripped the steering wheel. Chloe could see water around his eyes.
Charlie felt Danny touch her.

“Mom, Danny’s touching me!” Charlie squealed. Danny began to point his finger close to her shoulder.
“I’m not touching you.” He taunted with a smile on his face. Humor was not something that Lex looked forward to after a funeral. He just wanted to be a lone.
“Daniel! If you don’t shut your trap I’m going to shut it for you!” Lex yelled angrily. That shut Danny up. He’s never seen him this angry before. Danny was startled from his father’s outburst.
“Sorry I thought we could use a little humor.”
“Danny.” Chloe said as she turned around. She shook her head no. When they got home everyone piled out. Lex went to his room and Chloe followed him in. He sat on the bed and let the tears roll. Chloe sat next to him and wrapped her arm around him.

“He was so young Chloe.” He said between sobs. Lex thought she was taking it so well. She began rubbing his back in small circles.
“I know Lex. It’s going to be alright.” Lex could only hope it would get better as time moved on.

9 months later it was time for baby number seven to make “her” appearance. That’s right. Chlex are going to have a baby girl.

Lex was felt a wet spot in his side of the bed.

“Chloe, your, your,” He was startled and weirded out.
“I’m well aware that my water broke. Get me to a damn hospital!” She demanded as a contraction took place making her groan in pain. Lex quickly changed his pants and rushed her to the hospital leaving Nathan in charge.

The nurse rushed her to her room when they got there. Chloe began breathing really fast. Lex was so used to this by now that it became a routine.

“Lex, no more children after this.” She squealed as more pain went through out her body.
“Oh but Chloe,” He protested. “I mean it Lex Luthor. If we ever do it again I’m making you play it safe!” She bent forward and held her large tummy. Baby number seven or six was being a pain for Chloe. In their hearts baby number seven will always be seven.
“But safe sex is uncomfortable.” Chloe shot him a death glare that could knock you to the floor. “Alright safe sex.” They entered the room and Chloe rushed to the bed ready to go. A few seconds later the doctor came in.

“Mrs. Luthor back so soon?” The doctor joked. Chloe just gave him the same glare she gave Lex. The doctor cowered in his mind. He was used to this one from her previous visits.
“Uh doc? I don’t think you want to be pissing her off right now.” He informed him. He snapped his gloves on.
“The usual?” Chloe nodded. The usual meant no drugs. Lex braced himself for the meaningless things that his wife would throw his way.
“Push.” The doctor said like he would say one, two, three. Chloe began pushing as hard as she could. She squeezed Lex’s hand very tightly. A few hours went by. It felt like they weren’t getting anywhere.
“Chloe, I need you to push.” The doctor said again. “I am pushing dumb ass.” The doctor was used to this kind of thing because he’s done it so many times.
“No swearing around my child!” Lex scolded. “I don’t see you giving birth Mr. Luthor.”
“We’re never having sex again!” She threaten. Chloe pushed with all her might. Her hand began to slip in Lex’s because it was sweaty. Lex wasn’t worried because he knew she didn’t mean it. Lex thought he would rub her back to help ease her pain. She always liked it when he did that.

“Don’t touch me!” She snapped as she pushed. That made him jump. “It’s all your fault I’m pregnant again.”
“You were the one who jumped me.” He snapped back. “When we get home were sleeping in separate beds.” Lex scoffed and smacked his lips.
“When we get home I’ll buy you anything you want.”
“Why let you buy me something when I can easily get it myself?”
“I can see the head keep pushing.” A few more pushes and they heard crying. Chloe was so relieved to have the baby out of her stomach. The doctor quickly cleaned up the baby girl and handed her to Chloe.

“Oh Lex she’s so beautiful.” The baby was crying hysterically. Lex was in awe. This was his seventh time watching the love of his life give birth. Every time he watched was amazing as always. He put his hand on the back of the babies small head.

“Chloe, it’s time for the second part.” Chloe groaned.
“Can’t we skip it?” She complained. “That’s impossible Chloe.” The doctor advised. Well I won’t go into details with the second part… on with the story.

The next day they got to bring Annie David Luthor to her knew home. They had a costume party for Charlie’s birthday this weekend at the Talon. She was lucky to be able to rent it out because her father owned it. Annie would be wearing a cute pumpkin hat and an orange shirt.

Chloe heard the constant cries of her new born child. She rushed to the baby room and quickly scooped her up. She began bouncing her up and down slightly.

“What’s wrong Annie? Are you hungry, thirsty, tired. Do you need a diaper change?” Cries just came out of Annie’s mouth as a reply. Chloe thought she would rock her a little bit to get her back to sleep. That didn’t do anything at all. She just kept crying. She sniffed her diaper. It was clean… for now. Chloe did all she could think of. She was confused on what her little child want. She thought she had babies figured out but I guess she was wrong. She took Annie to Lex in his office.

“Lex, I can’t get her to stop crying.” She said desperately. Lex put his pen down and went to hold his daughter. She immediately stopped crying as she felt his touch. A smile spread across her face. Lex looked at Chloe weirdly. Chloe scoffed. Annie cooed.
“I guess she needed a fatherly touch.” Chloe scoffed quietly. Annie spit up on her clean shirt.
“I’m going to have to get used to that again.” Chloe took out a handkerchief that she had in her pocket. She cleaned up her daughter’s shirt.
“If it’s alright with you I’d like to hold her for a while.” Lex said a bit quietly.
“Sure. I need some rest anyway.” They shared a kiss. Lex stopped her before she left.
“Chloe, we make great children together. I hope we could at least have one more.” Lex was serious and meant it. He wouldn’t mind 2 more actually. Chloe smiled. She heard his plea in his tone.
“Someday Lex. For now I’d like a break.” He smiled as he watched her leave. Lex sat down on his couch and held Annie close.

“You would’ve loved your brother David, Annie.” Annie cooed again and moved her tiny little arms. She had Lex’s nose he noticed, and her mothers eyes. He could see a few red hairs. He smirked.
“It’s strange seeing red hair on my children. That was the color of my hair. I lost it during the meteor shower a long time ago.” A tear slid down his cheek as he thought of his son. He looked at her seriously.
“I love you Annie. I must go visit my son. He, he died.” Somehow Annie could hear the sadness in her tone and she started crying slightly. “Shhh.” He kissed the top of her head.

“Dad, are you ready for the party?” Charlie asked. Lex wasn’t even dressed yet.
“Oh shoot. Charlie I forgot.” He quickly handed Annie to her. “Please put her back in her crib. Will leave in a few minutes.” Lex went to go change into his costume. After a few minutes everyone was changed. Lex looked at Danny, Julian, and Charlie oddly. They were dressed funny.

“Danny, why are you dressed as a Y?” He asked confused.
“Because. Read this sentence.” Charlie was dressed as ASK, and Julian was dressed as a question mark. They stood side by side.
“Y, ask, questions? Clever.” Chloe said as she approached them. Chloe had Annie in her car seat ready to go. She wore a pumpkin hat left over from Halloween, and an orange shirt.

They all made it to the Talon on time. Charlie’s friends were there as well as the family. The Kent’s. Charlie wanted Grandpa Lionel to come to her birthday because she considered him family.

“So Lex, you’re dressed as the Phantom? I heard that story has a sad ending.” Clark said. Lex scoffed. He looked at Clark’s rather odd choice of costume.
“And I suppose you being Andy makes yours better?” Lex had a smile on his face. He whooshed his cape and went to find his wife. He was dressed in black, had the gloves, the mask the whole get up except for the deformed face. He saw Chloe talking to a masked person at the counter.

“Chloe, who are you talking to?” Lex asked as he looked at the masked man.
“Lex, it’s good to see you again.” Lex knew that voice. The masked man took off his mask. It was Bruce Wayne.
“I couldn’t resist another Luthor birthday.” Lex smiled. “Were always glad to have you over Bruce.”
“Congratulations on your new daughter.” He said as he looked at Annie in Chloe’s arms.
“Thank you. I wouldn’t mind having two more.” Chloe looked up at Lex startled. She couldn’t handle any more pregnancies. At least not for a while.
“Two more? What about one more?” She was a little scared now. Could she take on 9 children?
“I lied.”
“That wouldn’t be the first time.” She snapped. Lex smirked nervously. He didn’t like it when they argued in public. People stared.
“Chloe, now’s not the time to argue.”
“You started it.”

“Are you guys fighting?” Danny asked as he approached them. Chloe and Lex looked him nervously.
“No son. Why do you ask?”
“Well sometimes you guys go in your room and I can hear you scream from downstairs. Or I can tell you had a fight when you don’t kiss, and I don’t hear anything in your roo-“ Lex put his hand over his mouth. He felt embarrassed. He could feel his cheeks getting hot. Good thing one side was covered. Lex gave an embarrassing chuckle.
“He had too much punch.” He started shooing him to a different crowd.
“Lex hold it. Speaking of punch someone has been adding sugar to the punch in the fridge. Danny you wouldn’t know anything about that would you?” Danny looked at his mother nervously. He gulped.
“Don’t lie to me. I tasted it the other day.”
“You caught me mom.” He ran off to bug his sister.

It was finally time for cake and ice cream. A thing that you can’t miss at a birthday party. They all sang to Charlie. She blew out the candles and made a wish.

The next day Lex made a pit stop to his son’s grave at the Smallville cemetery. He felt the same pain when he heard about his death. He could hear the tremble in Clark’s voice. It was clear in his mind. David’s been shot. Lex swallowed those words. If only he didn’t allow them to go there then David would’ve still be a live. Lex knelt down next to the tombstone. He thought this would never happen so soon to one of his children. The reason he wanted two more was to make up for David. Now matter how hard he tried to make up for the loss of Dave no one could replace him. Lex put a fresh flower over the grass where his casket lay in 9 feet below. A tear trickled down his eye.

“You would’ve loved your new sister. I know you two would’ve gotten a long.” He was thankful that no one was at the grave yard.
“I miss you David. Please, come home.” He started crying. He heard some leaves crunching and looked over his shoulder startled. He was relieved when it was his wife.
“I knew you’d be here.” She said sadly. He rushed into her arms and cried.
“He’ll always be in our hearts Lex.” She whispered in his ear. Lex knew that he would always love his son no matter where he was. He knew he would always miss his son. He promised himself that he would visit him everyday for the rest of his life.
