Title: Stalker
Summary: Lex Luthor has a stalker and a murder has taken place in his mansion. Ending with a twist.

A/n: This has been bugging me for a while, so I thought I would get it out. Enjoy.
Chapter One: Murder
Lex Luthor was shuffling papers on his desk in his office, when he heard something in the hall. He looked out the slightly open door with narrowed eyes. He did his best not to get too worked up. He had enough on his mind as it was. He heard another footstep and knew he was going crazy. He sighed annoyingly and walked out into the hall. It was empty.
“I’m hearing things.” He thought aloud to himself and went back to work. He heard his helper sigh and then fall over. His eyes narrowed even more as panic began to strike him.
“Marcellus?” He called out while having his arm and hand out stretched on the door of his office, and he looked in the hall. There he was on the floor no less.
“Marcellus? Are you ok?” He asked and he was paranoid. He felt it through out his body. He walked over to the body that was laying there lifeless. Lex bent down near him and noticed blood on his helper’s chest. It was oozing out and it looked fresh. Marcellus’ face had gone pale. Lex noticed a business card on his helper’s stomach. Lex’s eyes and face looked curious as he picked up the card. It said ‘Your next.’ Lex gulped in fear and he knew he had to leave. There was a murderer loose in the mansion. In his mansion. Lex was used to being threaten, so much that it made him felt it to be routine. He couldn’t stay any longer in the mansion so he went to the Talon. He knew Chloe would be there.
After looking over his shoulder several times making sure there was no one following him, he left.
“Ok Lex. Get a grip. There is no one in the mansion. You would know right?” He was talking to himself again. He was worried, afraid. He was afraid of dying.
“Why would anyone want to kill me? Oh that’s right, it’s because I’m a Luthor.” He argued with himself on the way to the Talon, in his car. He hated his father for ruining the family reputation. It was about 8:50pm and he knew the Talon would be closing in ten minutes but the group had a cram session that night. That’s how he knew Chloe would be there. The love of his life. He finally got there, parked the car in front of the store, and walked in while looking over his shoulder. Chloe was talking about history and Lex nervously pulled up a chair, and sat next to her. She was surprised to see him.
“Hi Lex. I told you I was coming over after our study.” She was happy to see him, but it was better to study with out him, as he was a distraction. She noticed the paranoid look on his face.
“Lex, what’s wrong?” She asked seriously as she studied his face a bit more. He still had the same expression from before.
“I think I’m being followed. Would you come with me to the back?” He whispered as he looked at Pete, Lana, and Clark. Chloe nodded her head and Lex lead her to back room.
“Lex, what’s going on?” She was a little loud and he covered her mouth with his hand, silencing her.
“Shhh. Marcellus was murdered in my mansion tonight.” He sounded more afraid then normal.
“Did you should report this to the police?” Chloe was concerned and afraid for him.
“No. I think it would cause more trouble.” He said as panic raced through his veins.
“Lex, they could help you! I’m worried about you now, and I don’t want to loose you.” She said while wrapping herself around him. Lex wrapped his arms around her as well and pulled her close.
“I don’t want to loose you either. There was a business card on Marcellus’ chest. It said ‘your next.’ I’m scared Chloe.” He hugged her tightly and kissed her head. She was scared for him. The two went back to the room, and noticed that Lana wasn’t in the room.
“Where’s Lana?” They both asked in unison.
