Title: R & R
Author: HumbugGirl
Email: humbuggirl@yahoo.com
URL: http://www.pink-kitten.org/lamplight or http://www.livejournal.com/~humbuggirl
Pairing: Chloe/Lex
Rating: 15
Summary: Chloe shows Lex how he should be spending his time.
Spoilers: None really. If anything up to early S4… I haven’t watched anywhere near the entire season yet though.
Disclaimer: None of the characters of Smallville belong to me… its as simple as that.
Author’s Notes:
1. I’m a little rusty on writing this pairing – as some of you who know my older stuff with realise. Hope you enjoy anyway.
2. Answer to the short challenge: Have Chloe introduce Lex to a simple pleasure in life. It has to be something he has never done before...like walking barefoot in the grass or having a popsicle.
3. Written under the influence of JD, *giggles*

Slowly Lex’s eyes flickered open. For a moment he simply lay there, staring up at the ceiling of his bedroom steadily. It was unusual if he ever woke without instantly becoming aware of his surroundings but today seemed to be different somehow. His mind, while content, was sluggish to access the first moments of waking and it took the businessman several seconds to realise that it was the sound of his alarm clock that had dragged him out of sleep.

With weary limbs he pushed himself onto his side, absently noting that he seemed to be naked beneath the soft sheets and covered the clock with the palm of his hand. Instantly the offensive noise disappeared.

“Oh thank god,” a sleepy voice muttered. “For a moment there I actually thought I was going to have to move.”

The voice was muffled but instantly familiar. Lex fell back onto the mattress and turned his head to one side, finding himself confronted with the back of Chloe Sullivan’s head.

A rush of memories from the night before hit him. Images of the blonde girl’s ripe young body swaying provocatively, shimmering under the nightclubs lights as she danced filled his mind. The material of the dress she wore had clung to her body in some places and not in others, flaring and bunching; making her already ample curves all the more pronounced. When she had turned to face him Lex hadn’t been entirely certain how the blonde’s bosom had managed to stay concealed beneath the garment what with the deep ‘v’ at the front.

The vision she had presented had seemed so pornographic to him that instantly the urge to bundle her away into the night had filled him. Clearly the girl had absolutely no idea what sort of reaction she was likely to elicit from the men who saw her by wearing such a thing.

One look into Chloe’s eyes had told him that she knew exactly what she was doing and furthermore that it was probably for his benefit. They’d ended up practically falling out of the club – much to the amusement of the bouncers who had let them out – and then falling into the limo he had taken his detour to the venue in. What had followed had been a somewhat surprising and definitely enjoyable night, leading up to this point now where the blonde girl who had been darting in and out of his mind for the past few years was in his bed.

An honest smile seeped over Lex’s face, reaching up into his careworn eyes and filling them. Impulsively he rolled over and laid a kiss on her shoulder, listening to the content little sound that Chloe made in response.

“Where are you going?” she queried as the mattress shifted and Lex slip from between the sheets.

He stopped in a sitting position and said, “I’m getting up.”

The mattress dipped again swiftly as Chloe moved with a surprising burst of energy. Her slender arms suddenly wrapped around his neck and she pressed the length of her body against his back. Lex tried to force down the flush of desire that rippled through him at the feeling of her pert breasts against him and failed miserably. He’d been too long without her; it seemed wrong to deny himself the pleasure of enjoying her now.

“You’re not going anywhere,” she breathed into his ear.

“Oh?”

“Nope,” Chloe said. She slipped one hand down from where it had been resting on his shoulder down over his chest, finding a nipple and tweaking it. “It’s Sunday morning Lex. Sunday mornings aren’t for getting up; they’re for lazing around in bed doing absolutely nothing. It’s one of the simple pleasures in life.”

Sucking in a deep breath to steady himself while trying to ignore the sensation of her nimble fingers he said, “I have some reports to read over.”

He could almost feel her roll her eyes as she said, “Don’t you ever just take the morning off?”

“Not really.”

“Not even on Sundays?”

“No, not really. There’s always something that needs doing. Part of the problem with being head of an international corporation.”

Chloe snorted her disbelief. “If you get out of bed then I’m going to leave,” she threatened slyly.

Lex looked back over his shoulder at her, noting the sparkle of cunning in her eyes. Obviously she was serious.

Slowly, carefully, he relaxed. Easing himself back onto the bed he turned to look at her. A warm smile slipped over her lips and she curled her body closer to his, encouraging him to wrap an arm around her shoulder. They lay in silence though not inactive. Chloe’s hand ran over his chest, finding his nipples and plucking at them before sliding her fingers downwards and resting them teasingly on the flat of his stomach above his groin.

“What now?” he asked, fighting a suddenly dry mouth.

Chloe gave a shrug of her shoulders. “Whatever we want.”

“I want to read those reports,” he said though with a hint of joking in his voice.

“We could watch TV I suppose,” she said, choosing not to rise to the bait.

“The remote is at the other side of the room,” Lex pointed out.

“We could read the paper…”

“It’s downstairs.”

“…Have breakfast.”

“And how do you suppose we get the food up here? With the power of my mind?”

“Only if you’re a meteorite freak,” Chloe countered dryly. “And if you are I’m very disappointed you didn’t tell me before I let you do you-know-what to me last night.”

With a raised eyebrow Lex asked, “Would it have made a difference?”

The blonde girl shifted slightly. Looking down Lex discovered he could just about see her purse her lips in thought for a moment before she answered.

“No… probably not. Not with you anyway.”

She rubbed her cheek against his shoulder and Lex let his fingers play lightly on her arm.

“I think I’ve thought of something we can do…” he mused thoughtfully after a moment.

“Glad to here you’re getting into the spirit of things,” Chloe replied. She titled her head backwards and peered up at him. “What did you have in mind?”

Lex grinned suddenly at her, stretching down he pressed his lips tightly against hers. A heady gasp escaped Chloe and she opened her mouth, letting his tongue dart inside to stroke her own.

“I’m not sure this counts as relaxing,” she breathed when he finally gave her the chance, relinquishing her lips and shifting his body to hover over her.

Letting his hips press down against hers, Lex gave Chloe a moment to recognise the object jutting into her and then said, “I happen to find it very relaxing.”

Chloe’s lips parted slightly and then she said, “Well then I suppose I’ll have to indulge you – since this is your first Sunday morning lie-in that is.”

The grinned on Lex’s lips widened even as he felt her snake a hand beneath the sheets to find him.
